This is his savedata:

I bought this game specifically for that savedata, I need some serious help locating the Exact files I need to make it work. One of the files listed in the second link above is missing files so I can't even use it. I went to a site called tesnexus to see if they could help me and thus far, to be honest, it hasn't gone anywhere. They link me to where the files are but some of it's in chinese and I really have no idea where to find a link to the version I need on sites like that. I've tried all the other guides I could find for it including 2 youtube videos that still would not load the character stored on the savedata. The furthest I got was managing to get everything but the tattoo's and her face to load.

I've spent the past week trying to get this to work and I broke in yesterday and posted on tesnexus to get help, it hasn't gotten me anywhere yet. Could anyone that has experience with this help me out, I'm about to lose my mind.

Yes I did try this: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=13

That's where I got everything but the face and tattoo's to load.

Post your load order. You probably lack some mods.

Sorry for the delayed response, was just really burnt out after that first try, spent all day on it. :dodgy:

I had already disabled the mods and re-placed the data folder again when I posted here so right now it's setup exactly how I had it when I installed the game. Once I get up in the morning I'll try again and assuming it fails again I'll upload it/post here. Someone also mentioned to me that I should try downloading the maria save data and using something called wyre bash to figure out what EXACTLY I needed so I figure I'll give that a shot as well. Hopefully wyre bash will tell me exactly what was compatible at the time so I can just install that, I could care less for updated files I just want this save to work.

Oh and for whatever reason that paparoach blog seems to be down which is blowing my mind, glad I grabbed what I could when it was up

I'm going to try to find the ones I need but if anyone has links to some of these' date=' posting them would be appreciated. I don't think my problem has been installation, I think it's been the versions I'm getting.

List of required mods via wyre bash:

Hello!

Actually, I'd suggest against using that save for actual playing. Saves often tend to carry scripts a lot of extra stuff you may not want (armor mods, overhauls and so on). But, you can easily start a new game and then use the "import face" feature in Wrye Bash to have the same exact face and color. That way you don't need to find and install every single mod in that save file.

For the chocolate elf, you need the links here

http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=13

specially the ChocolateElfXeo add-on. No other mods are really needed. Then you need to apply Flingingfeces texture to overwrite the normal chocolate elf texture.

Hello and Thank you all for the help thus far. It looks like I'm getting it, I'm still downloading some of the files right now.

I do have a question right now though, I get linked here from your link to get the chocolate elf: http://narulivion.blog46.fc2.com/blog-entry-210.html

I can't read Chinese but I assume from that link that I get linked here: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=37368

If so then from that last link do I need to download the MBP Plus Plus 098a Full AND the MBPpp Chocolate Elves file in order to get the chocolate elves race. I saw some other files on that narulivion blog but I really could not tell if I needed anything from there or if that was where I was supposed to get the chocolate elf.

There are two different things being discussed here:

1. The MBP chocolate elves is an addon to MBP++ so you will need to install it first. NOTE: MBP++ also requires you to first install MBP 2ched 1.4a as a minimum. Think of MBP++ as a patch or addon that requires a core mod first. The choco elves MBP version is a further addon to the MBP++ addon - confused yet? :)

2. The XeoChoco elves is a Xeo addon, so naturally it will require Xeo as a core base file (I thought however that it is already included in xeo to begin with).

The race needed for that save character is actually Xeo Chocolate Elf which is part of XeoRC4.

MBP in this case is more of a hair/eye/texture resource. Anyways, for that save face you'll need:

Modular Beautiful People (full, i think 1.4a is the current version)
Modular Beautiful People++
Modular Beautiful People - Chocolate Elves addon
Xeo Races (XeoRC4)

MBP links (as posted by others before)

http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=13

Xeo Races (ryou44's 4shared folder - I think that chocolate elf face was inspired from one of the characters here)

Side note: The mod sites linked on this thread were in japanese.

@Deux

You need to install MBP++. I believe the links in TES Nexus has all the requiered files. It used to be a pain to make them work!

Then you need to install Xeo. And then Xeorace as Kilana said.

The particular race you want is ChocolateElfXeo, which comes from XeoRace.

It sounds complicated, but if you follow the right order and use BOSS and Wrye Bash you should have no problems :)

Oh, just in case, after you've installed the required mods:

Face importing steps:

1. Create a new character, select the appropriate race/gender to match the save you will be importing from (In your case, a female Chocolate Elf (Xeo))

2. Save the game. Exit Oblivion.

3. Open Wyrebash (Note: In version 295.5 of Wyrebash, face importing is broken. You'll need to use an earlier version of Wyrebash to continue. I recommend version 295)

4. Under the saves tab, right click your new save and select Import Face

5. File select appears. Find the pretty character save and select it. This feature can be used to extract NPC faces from mod files(esp) if you desire as well.

6. A selection of characters in the file appears. Choose the character who's face you want. I'd recommend having all option checkboxes empty. (Name, Race, Gender, Stats, Class)

7. Click Import to finish.

The face geometry should import no problem if the race is the same. Hair usually appears okay if you have the hair meshes installed(even without the source esp active). The eyes often appear bugged though, usually mismatched eyes(like left colored and right black or something). You'll be able to correct these in game by opening the console (~ key) and typing 'showracemenu'.

If using console showracemenu, make sure to press ESC and save the game INSTEAD of confirming race choices like normal. Reload the character from the new save. Just hitting confirm will crash oblivion usually.

Thank you all for the help thus far :D

The 2nd try ended in epic failure yesterday but the 3rd try was an awesome success at around 4 am last night :D

I need help identifying what mod would aid me in producing the effects used in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3PvJzLH-Ik

Don't worry about the walk animation, the video uploader included the mod in the description. More specifically I need help locating a mod that will produce similar lighting effects, it doesn't need to be the same mod, just need one that will produce similar effects. I already installed the HGEC Gloss Oiled 2 files last night for the chocolate elf, just need to find a compatible mod that will give me I guess "screen effects" that can produce the lighting effects in the video.

Oh yeah and one more question, should I install this skeleton for HGEC: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=27945

I installed HGEC and it recommended I disable their animations and install NoMaaM_BBB_Animation_Replacer which I did. I set the animations to "expressive" but the melons aren't doing much so I assume I need the skeleton above to get the desired effect. I'm looking for it to produce the same *ahem* ...bounce as in the video.

This is the version of HGEC I installed: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=34442%29.

I'm not sure if he's saying in the description that he already installed the skeleton or not. The NoMaaM mod is linked at the top of the description for the HGEC link.

Again, Thank you all for all the help thus far. :D

Side Note: I chose not to use the maria save because it requires I install things I don't want so I created my own character which I like very much.

I've got the body to shine now, I'm guessing the lighting or the "ambient" light that is produced by sunrise or sunset is the only thing I need to get the skin to match the effect in that Lady Flirt video. I was going to install that all natural weather mod but was too much of a hassle so didn't bother with it p:

I'll post a picture when I get a good one :D
