Defeat + Death Alternative (Question)

Is there a way to have your followers assaulted along with your character while using DA + Defeat? I think DA is overriding Defeat's follower options, and it causes my follower to just stand there and watch. The only other option I see under DA is to have them dismissed or killed.

In my experience Defeat works best if you disable the DA scenario and set a health threshold of say 10% on the "wound" option. Defeat is not yet fully compatible with DA, so there's some weirdness guaranteed when you combine them.

That's the way I had it before I installed DA. I use some difficulty mods and most of the time enemies would just one shot me, and Defeat would never activate. With DA, it can activate 100% of the time.
