Wrong attributes in game?

I was tinkering around Construction Set on making the Dremora race playable. 

 

In game, I found that the attributes were different from the ones in CS

 

Example:

 

Base attributes in CS show intelligence being 60

In game, Int is 55

 

Personality in CS is 10
In game, Per is 0

 

Are levelling mods like realistic levelling affecting this?  (I have it)

Is there some scripting that changes these attributes?

Is this why you should make a copy of race instead of editing it?

 

(The esp I made to make dremora playable is at the bottom of the load order for testing)

Without knowing what mods you are running we have no way of telling you.  Often there are scripts that make adjustments to base attributes.  It can be faction based or effected by other mods and so on.

it might be LoversAphrodisia  that is interacting with attributs, you might check that one . try disable the mod and see if there is a change or change the ini settings of this mod. or you need your character to have sex to restore attributs .

After excruciating trial and error I found, Morrowblivion was the problem.

When you take the alternate start in the ship, it screws around with the Dremora attributes.

 

When you start in the prison sewer, everything is totally fine.

Does anyone know why?

Could be a dirty edit (meaning that the mod author accidentally altered something and didn't mean to) or that the author edited it for a reason (ie some of the quests needed personality to be 0 for some odd reason).

 

The actions you can take are as follows:

1. Report the problem on their website and hope they fix it.

2. Try to open up the esm or esp that contains the race info and edit it to your desired stat level.

3. Do nothing and live with it.

You could work around the error by making a duplicate race. That way, any mods that have effects on the race you are editing (for whatever balance purposes or even just dirty edits) will have no effect on your PC.

 

Obviously, if you are running any kind of replacer mods that edit the race data (such as making some of the paths different or adding additional hairs or eyes) you'd want those mods loaded too.

 

If you are running a replacer mod, you can mark that as active. If not, make a new esp (by having no active mod).
