Dawnguard Female Vampire Boots for UPN

Recommended Posts

View File

This is just a simple mesh edit and reweight to make the Dawnguard DLC female Vampire Boots fit better on bare legs. It is meant for UNP but it MIGHT work with other body mods.

To install, go to Data\meshes\dlc01\clothes\vampire and look for the files vampirebootsf_0.nif and vampirebootsf_1.nif. If they are present, copy them to make back ups and then install the mod manually. Extract and paste the meshes folder into you Data folder.

Permissions: This is a freebie. The boots needed fixing IMO so I did it. Feel free to use this in your own mods provided you do not submit my content to Nexus. If you're modding for Nexus you cannot use anything I make. No exceptions.

They look really cute  :)

Worthy of being mixed with other outfits now definitely.

Thanks.  The original idea was to make them fit around the calf so they weren't boating around like rubber galoshes.  Since I already had them open in Blender I went ahead and elevated the heel and shortened the toe so they look like women's boots.  And since I had done that I went ahead and reweighted them for better performance.  :P

Glad you like them and thanks for downloading. :)

UNP Dawnguard Armors has vampire boots adapted for UNP calves but they look clunky. I like your version much better.

That's because of who made it.  I can almost promise you those boots are basically vanilla.  I tried that mesh and even with the vanilla vamp clothes with pants attached there was too much space at the top cuff.  Moral: If you're going to claim something is modded it might actually be a good idea to go ahead and MOD IT.  :D
