MisterUsername Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Now im sure this kind of topic has been posted before and someones gonna get annoyed yet another one of these topics has turned up, but really; something like this should be stickied on forum. if this post annoys you, then dont post, i dont want to hear "use the search function" because ive done it a lot of times and usually it doesnt come up with much of what im looking for. so i used to mod skyrim a lot back in the day, but after trying to install a bunch and it not working, tryinf to get it to work for a couple of days i eventually gave up and uninstalled my game and all my mod managers etc. but thats besides the point. i'd like to hear from you guys what kind of "essential" mods you install, such as body mods, skin textures and stuff like that. i already know most of the must haves such as SKSE, FNIS, sexlab and all that good stuff, would just like to hear from you guys what mods you reccomend, like i said above.
fizzybutt Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 There is one already stickied, it's over in the Sexlab downloads, called the Index. That really will help you out much more than anyones personal opinion. And yes, there are bunches of threads asking the very same exact question you are :3 But in the spirit of ... well the nice cool weather we're having and the fact I don't have to go out in the rain... What I consider as essential is: SkyUI SkyUI show slots Race Menu XPMSE UNP/B/CM HDT FNIS Screenshot Assist (because even though I suck at it, I still like taking screenshots) SweetFX (because I can't use any enb) Imaginator (because I can't use any enb) Imaginator MCM menu (because I can't use any enb) Dynavision (because I can't use any enb) Alternate Start of some sort (so I don't have to go through that damn helgen opening) Ten million armor mods (merged into a few so I can pick what I want to wear.) 20 hair/eye/tattoo/brow mods so I can have variety. TES5Edit (not a mod but damn essential for making sure things play nice) Ordinator (to tame some of those uncompressed textures so my pc doesn't implode and create a black hole) Save Game Script Cleaner (self explanatory) Everything else I screw around with and add in and out.
Nasseliten Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Hmmm, Dynavision, how does that compare to "I can't belive it's not enb" ( I have always used that one) Do you know if they work together? Sadly I cannot run enb either.

fizzybutt Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 You should invest some learning time in Mod Organizer. That'll keep your skyrim install clean and no more reinstalls due to goofing a mod. Hmmm, Dynavision, how does that compare to "I can't belive it's not enb" ( I have always used that one) The 'I can't believe it's not enb' mod is using SweetFX, so you can use Dynavision. I actually use ICBINE2's sweetFX setting.

That'll keep your skyrim install clean and no more reinstalls due to goofing a mod. snip... Most definitely spend sometime learning MO. Not only does it help keep your Skyrim directory clean, but also allows you to use multiple profiles that gives the flexibility of what mods you are running. There's a great topic here on LL that goes into some detail and shows you how to get up and running. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/20492-mod-organizer/ There also the S.T.E.P project where MO maintains its presence. http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer [ghost]
Varithina Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 For me its; SkyUI SkyUI show slots Race Menu XPMSE 7Base bombshell at present though it was unpbo at one point. HDT FNIS TES5Edit Ordinator Save Game Script Cleaner Appachii sky hair http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10168/? Atalas map markers http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14976/? MisterUsername Posted November 28, 2014 Author Posted November 28, 2014 Ok another question. what is Bodyslide? is it a body type or...? because i want to install the HDT body to get "Fill her up" working with a compatible body mod, but the HDT body download is just a file called "bodyslide" it doesnt come with any .esp files or anything, im quite confused. i want the HDT body so that i can keep my HDT hair/breasts/butt physics, but still have a compatable mod for fill her up/pregnancy mods if i choose to install one in the future. EDIT: managed to get fill her up working using the 7base bombshell + HDT bombshell beta. would still like to know what bodyslide is exactly though.
