Adrianne Avenicci is stuck in opening scene

During your first visit to Whiterun Adrianne is havnig an argument with one of the battle borns about the imperials needing swords.. or at least that's what's supposed to happen. In my game the two NPCs just stand there looking at each other and don't say anything, they have been standing there since I've started playing my game and have not moved from the spot. I tried resetting their AI, I tried "dsableing" and "enabling" them, and I tried using the resurrect console command, all with no luck. Any advice on how to get them to progress forward would be great.

Have you tried to initiate diaglog with anyone of them?
