Creating Armor with HDT Physics

hello all,

I have several mesh that I would like to "convert" them to HDT-PE enabled, from what I have read from ( code google com/p/hdt-pe/ ) all I need to do is attach the HDT to the mesh in Nifskope... but what confused me is why must the mesh be weighted to a T/BBP body? Even if its a long cloak or just a piece of clothes hanging on the arm?

secondly, from what I understand, the HDT properties can be adjusted in the .xml with "Just For Fun", is it correct?

does the "conversion " involve any works in 3dsmax?

I am sorry for my English, it is not my native and I needed help for it from a friend... :P

to make it simple... from "what i understand", these are the steps...

1) Create the mesh as usual in 3dsmax.

2) Weight the mesh to ?T/BBP or XPMS?

3) Attach the properties in Nifskope.

4) Done!?

any advice welcomes, thank you ^_^

If you want to make armour with HDT movement (flowing capes and stuff)

Your going to need a custom setup, skinned and ready to export from 3dsMax.

If you want to add HDT butt/breast bounce to armour, all you need is to add the weights to the armour.

Look up HDT Autopilot tools and watch the video to get an idea, or watch canderes youtube videos on hwo to make armour with HDT movement.
