Custom Race Follower Not Appearing in Cell

I am having a head scratcher. I want to make a custom Lunari follower, and so I've been looking over instructions on how to make followers that are custom races. I follow all the instructions, including using Wrye Bash to esmify the Lunari.esp for the Creation Kit. All of that works fine and I'm able to do the routine of making a custom follower in CK without any problem.

 

However, the character isn't showing up in the interior cell that I place them in. I've tried placing her in the Drunken Huntsman, the Sleeping Giant Inn, and the Four Shields Tavern. The plugin is checked, its masters appear to all be fine. Can anyone help me out?
