I think I may have found an issue with SKSE 1.7 and the Game script support. 

 

Using the following function:

Notice I call GetModName twice for the same index. The first call returns my mod name ("Apropos") and the second call returns the actual mod name at that index.

Thought so but didn't know for sure.

Btw: What happens if you feed GetModName a second time into modname, instead of a new string? Same result or does it finally change?

Because i got the feeling that the first call always reads the mods it's called from.
