chivaleroncross Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Hello and thanks again for reading this and your precious time Lets get to problem:I killed some corpse at random area, lets say some dude at Fisherman's Rock or Draconis Family for Dark Brotherhood Quest. I spent full week or so, traveling and surprised found their bodies not even disappear. It also applied to some NPCs usually connected with Quest, like Pale Lady while saving Amusei for Thieves Guild. I dont know how to make those corpses disappear. Coz my thought is, it only burden my memories. Thanks

MarkForDelete is Skyrim console command. Not for Oblivion. Check if one of your mods is modifying the iHoursToRespawnCell settings.

How to know that one Mo? xD Load all the active mods with Tes4edit Browse to oblivion.esm -> settings Then you'll find the respawn time setting. If that is modified, you'll see which mod is modifying it in the right side window. If that setting is not modified at all, try installing kuertee CleanUp mod.
Poontank Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 It could also be one (or more mods) messing around with the NPCs and their quest item flag. NPCs flagged as quest items will leave permanent corpses that never disappear. Matthias and Perennia Draconis are two examples for such characters, their corpses are meant to never vanish from the game world. Some mod you have installed might change ordinary (non-quest item) NPCs by mistake. 'RefScope' probably yields the answer which plugin is modifying a specific NPC. If all else fails and the perma-corpses are annoying you, just open the console, click on the NPC and use the disable command.
