Need help with Nemesis, I use FNIS too.

Sorry for the long post (the spoilers are kinda long on my screen)

So have about 24344-25060 animations on Nemesis and around 19000 in FNIS.
I run FNIS first and then Nemesis, update engine and launch it.

I don't know why the mod amount changes, it might be Nemesis not reading or reading multiple times.
Basicly i just run it, it runs for a bit and after it reaches 99%, nothing. It just stays like that for an eternity.
It was running fine but it just decided to do this. I downloaded some stuff and now it doesn't complete it.

Now i suspect something about the hkxcmd.exe It wasn't about this i guess.
Here's what FNIS looks like on TASK MANAGER

As you can see it uses hkxcmd, and it keeps opening new ones or this one stays open idk. But it's just there 'till FNIS is done.

Now when i run Nemesis on the other hand

It boots up like 5-3-1 hkxcmd.exe and here's the thing, not only does it boot up more than one (might be normal idk)
All hkxcmd's shut down by the time Nemesis reaches 95% and it just loads to 99% without any hkxcmd
This might be normal i just wanted to point it out.


ZaZ is suspicious too, it sometimes reads it and sometimes shows 400~ animations missing from ZaZ.
And it's the last thing Nemesis seem to load (well it's actually alphabetic but idk)

So yeah that's it, someone PLEASE help me. I've been at this for like 5 hours i can't find a fix.
Again, sorry for the long post (it's long with the spoilers) just wanted to provide any info i can, if you need more just say the word please help.

Edit 1: I used to run it through MO2, i deleted that and put the folder manually in Data. When i run it manually it doesn't load any anims which is normal. But even when i set the location to normal Skyrim directory Nemesis instead of Mod Organizer's folder and then run it through MO2 it still shows like a lot of anims and checkable boxes for like True Directional Movement which doesn't show up when i start it manually in Skyrim folder.

You should be running this through MO2 no matter what, regardless of anything else. 

 

For me personally, I have a multi core CPU (8 core 16 thread) . What might help you is , first delete all previous animations and FNIS generation.

do "Create files in mod instead of overwrite" to make things easier. Set things back up to run through MO2. You have to understand that if youre running things outside of MO2's scope then it wont recognize the mods you have in its virtual file system .

 

 

Nextly, if you happen to use a lot of cores in an AMD processor, you need to set the core affinity in task manager . (You may be able to utilize this tactic with an intel processor too.)  

 

Task Manager > Details > Find Nemesis process.

 

Then 

 

Right click > Set Affinity 

 

From here, you can experiment a little, Try disabling the first two cores and left it run without those two (CPU 0 and 1). 

 

The more animations you have , the less Cores you might wanna utilize when using nemesis. Also you probably (More than likely) do not need FNIS at all. 

 

Nemesis will do everything that FNIS can do. Just get rid of it?

I have RTX-4060 and I7 13650hx 14 core 19 thread (it shows 19 in affinity) i'll try the 0 and 1 thing and will let you know.

Also, i literally disable every single mod but Nemesis and Xpmsse and it still didn't load. But after disabling Xpmsse re-enabling a lot (not all) of mods it managed to load it and not get stuck at 99%. It keeps crashing quite a bit tbh i keep launching it till it makes it. Obviously disabling Xpmsse isn't an option. Can you give me any help with that pls ?

what's the reason behind this ? Oh and i have creature stuff so i need FNIS i believe, from what i heard. But if there's a way to make nemesis load creature i'd ditch FNIS.

Edit: Changing affinity with 0-1 doesn't seem to change anything but i'll take your word for it and disable cores 0 and 1, i have A LOT of anims so it'll count towards "using less cores the more anims i have" so i'll keep them disabled.

Okay so, i'm not gonna edit the other one. But, after i changed my search from "Nemesis stuck at 99% exc." to "Nemesis doesn't work with Xpmsse exc." i found this github post with the exact same issue. I did what the post said and it actually worked. HOWEVER, even if the guy said it all works fine (didn't try it) it looks like Nemesis doesn't read Xpmsse, at least i didn't see it here:

It ran the detector at the end, but it used to show up in the "Mod Checked" section at the start.
Would this possibly cause any issues ? Or does it read Xpmsse at the end with the detector script anyways ?

Edit1: So it turns out Xpmsse wasn't the only one, Devious Devices and Toys Framework has the same problem too. (Edit2: Turns out ZAZ does too.) Doing the same "delete the FNIS list" with all  3  4 mods did allow Nemesis to run. However they don't show up too, just like Xpmsse not showing up in "Mod Checked" section.

So i thought well if it doesn't show up on Nemesis i'll just run FNIS for the ones Nemesis doesn't read, since i have both.
Well FNIS doesn't see them too, which makes sence since we delete the thingy.

There is no "DD v4" read. Only thing that starts with D is Defeat which works fine on Nemesis too. So i need another solution it would seem, OR i need to know if it'll still read them even if they don't show up as read here. So yeah this is the new problem now. I don't think deleting FNIS will make things right since Nemesis literally reads through the same file, or doesn't see it if it isn't there, and deleting FNIS will not change the list files.

Here, Defeat has it. And has no problem with Nemesis.

Here, DD has it too, but after i choose reveal in explorer and delete it Nemesis will work but won't read DD. Nor will FNIS.

Well turns out both Nemesis and FNIS can't read any of them, or so i think. Xpmsse only has the normal draw animation and not the "from hip" "from back" animations so i guess it didn't read. Which makes me believe there are issues with the other 3 mods too (didn't test them specifically but didn't see any problems, yet). So yeah i DO need another solution and your help. Pls help i'm losing sanity.

It goes straight into stuff without the "format" "option" or whatever, i don't really understand anything about these stuff but it's just the differences i found between the "readable" ones and the "problematic" ones. Just posting these in case someone decides to help me and these might give them an idea.

Oh and these all used to work, i don't know what happened, i don't know what i did, but i do know i played with these mods just a few days ago.
I don't think any mods i might have downloaded (i don't remember if i downloaded more mods in the past 4 days) would mess with these files anyways.
Then i thought why not reinstall them and it didn't work.

This line is the reason behind the breakage .

 

You cannot use a cracked version of skyrim for modding. You have to buy it from steam. 

 

Also , I have come across the realization that you more than likely cannot effectively use FNIS and Nemesis at the same time. Nemesis will create its own FNIS.esp plugin (Dummy) that it uses to trick the game . You cant have two FNIS ESPs at once.

Well anyways, as you can see from the language i'm turkish, and idk if you know the state turkey is in right now or not but i can hardly pay for an absolute shit ass net, so i had Skyrim cracked before, and a copy as a backup and even after i bought it on steam in Summer sale i didn't wanna download it 'cus it takes AGES. So yeah sorry bout that.

But, i don't think the issue is it being cracked, it worked fine so far. Any other ideas pls ? If there is absolutely no other answer ,but again it worked before, then i'll download it.

Edit: Oh and i did use Nemesis and FNIS with no issues before this happened.

So, sorry for the late response it took like 2 whole ass days ffs. I downloaded the Steam version and the problem didn't change a single bit, any ideas guys ?

Xpmse's FNIS_list.txt seems to be the source, but deleting it isn't an option since... we talked about it. How come it works for people it's literally the same mods from same pages. Thinking about this made me wonder maybe it's something about my pc ? .NetFramwork 3.5 seems to work fine, i'm at a complete loss. Someone PLEASE HELP ME

You will have to re-install Skyrim from Steam then, because FNIS detects you are using a cracked version.

 

After that,

instructions are there.

 

You need Mod Organizer, this will likely mean you will have to completely re-install your game anyway and download install mods to MO.

Its just not going to work with Vortex or NMM.

You will need to actually install version 1.5.9 from Steam using downpatcher or downloader from file from Nexus.

I just read through the guide, but i don't have FNIS activated. I created a new instance on MO2 and named it Skyrim Special Edition Steam, and then activated mods but nothing related to FNIS as far as i can see: (List isn't alphabetic it's sorted by priority as you can see.)

I don't really look at the priorities on the left panel of MO2, maybe it's about that but these are the ones i activated after downloading the Steam version. There's no FNIS related stuff i think so i don't know if the guide will help. Don't get me wrong i'm so stuck right now i'd even do a damn ritual in my house if it'll work, i am gonna try the guide.

But i have a question, i'm on 1.6.640 and the three engines lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Bethesda Engine attacked. So i'm also not sure if downgrading will help since it all worked fine on 1.6.640 before the events. Again, don't get me wrong i will try it. But is there any way to make them work on 1.6.640 ? All my mods are for AE.

I use this, to download Skyrim SE version 1.5.9 from Steam.

So when using MO, you want a nice clean install of Skyrim.

Then you use that link, follow the directions, patch the game back to 1.5.9

Start fresh install, use downgrader patcher, and then follow with using 1.5.9 mods.

Joke's on you guide, it didn't generate anything at all

Well this is the step i stop at, since i can't continue. Well i tried, i don't know what to do. Gonna go hit the sack, and wonder why always these stuff hits me and works for other people. I just formatted my pc cus of some random ass Gaming Services error that couldn't be solved.

I still need help peeps, i hope someone can solve this and help me. I know i can't, i'm defeated by Nemesis

Edit: OR MAYBE I'M NOT. Well, no i still am. BUT, before i pass out i decided to check out the Nemesis Output in Explorer and it had some stuff in it.
Maybe these would help, i think it generated behaviors but not animations? or otherwise? idk, i don't know anything bout these. Thought it could help you guys understand what's going on with my Nemesis.

The guide I linked literally has a very specific order that the mods are to be unchecked in and specific re-checked and specific ones that are not to be re-activated.

It is explained in the guide.

 

I am left wondering does FNIS work at all in your game.

 

When it is working, you cannot have Nemesis engine checked when running FNIS behavior.

You can not have FNIS active in left panel when running Nemesis engine.

It is explained in the guide.

 

Done it hundreds of times.

I didn't even have FNIS in the downloaded mods section, the right panel on MO2. It didn't even exist in the MO2 plane. The only mods i had were these. No FNIS or anything related, just Nemesis. And it still failed to run.

Again, my problem is getting Nemesis to run. Today i thought about just running FNIS with the FNIS_list.txt file in place, and then deleting the txt file and running Nemesis. So FNIS should generate necessary stuff for Xpmsse and after that i can delete the txt and run Nemesis, it will generate stuff other than Xpmsse. Didn't try it yet, and i'm not sure if i should make FNIS output overwrite Nemesis one. It might not work.
Is there a way to make this ? I mean ZAZ, Xpmsse, Toys and DD mods' FNIS_list files make Nemesis stuck. So can i like run FNIS, use the generated files from it so these 4 mods are generated, delete the FNIS_list files and run Nemesis, so mods like TDM is generated, and then somehow combine them ?
Because, back to the problem at hand. Nemesis can not read those FNIS_list.txt files, deleting them makes Nemesis complete to a 100%, but not generate those mods' animations.

There are things that I dont know if you understand about Nemesis,

 

Did you "update engine" first before attempting to launch Nemesis?

 

Other thoughts,

-You are trying to ram through a massive load order, before you have finally gotten FNIS and NEMESIS working together your first time, sure I can do it but when I first started, I was not attempting every single mod that i intended to have in my Load Order.

 

With Mod Organizer, you can do a seperate profile, and set up a small set of mods and check it out,

Then you work from there.

That long load order is from before, it was a test from 4 days ago as you can see from the date it's not my current load order. Besides one time i tried to make this work i had Nemesis and Xpmsse and nothing else. It still got stuck. Like this

You cannot use a cracked version of skyrim for modding. You have to buy it from steam. 

 

that's simply not true lol FNIS works perfectly fine with cracked versions. It gives you this message even on legit versions if its not configured properly in MO2

nemesis is not very stable IME. Personally the only way I can get it to run is by using process lasso with which I set nemesis to below normal CPU priority and adjust CPU affinity so it only runs on a 4 or 5 processors. do not use any hyperthreading, ie don't use 0 and 1 or 2 and 3, but you can use 1 and 2 if you want. if you have an 8 core 16 processor CPU like me you can try something like the attached image. Don't run it on any super busy core like core 0 is for your OS so you want to avoid it. Try to close anything else running and be patient. Nemesis will be slow but it will be more stable this way. If you get a crash make sure to use process lasso to clean up any leftover hkxcmd processes. If you've ensured that you closed any orphan processes and restarted MO2 and still get a crash then its your load order.
