Vortex Lord Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 So I placed some ambient sounds in my dungeon, decided to remove them. But they are still playing when I test the dungeon in the game at the places where they were placed. I don't know what is going on. I checked in SSEEDit and I found nothing.
anjenthedog Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 (edited) If they've been physically removed from an associated path (where they might have been called for playback), then at a guess, they somehow got baked into the save (and no I don't know how, just speculating) what happens if you load a savefile made prior to them being added? Vortex Lord Posted March 15, 2023 Author Posted March 15, 2023 (edited) No change. I coc-d to it from the main menu. This gives me a generic Dragonborn and a new save. Though I never save when I do this. It's the same as if I loaded my current character and coc-d to it from there. Edited March 15, 2023 by Vortex Lord
Vortex Lord Posted March 15, 2023 Author Posted March 15, 2023 (edited) I guess a bug is now a feature. Edit: I figured out what it is. The effects I used also emit a similar sound to the removed objects. Sorry for wasting your time and space on the server. Edited March 16, 2023 by Vortex Lord
anjenthedog Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 No worries. I was just out of ideas. Ain't' no "expert" just another player. So anyway, glad you found your problem and solved it. 1
