Oh wow... they deleted the post or had it removed. You can fake an ID in like 2 seconds with just Paint and Google.

The verification system they have in place is quite literally pointless. I had posted a fake I.D. and Discord tag here I made in less than 30 seconds. Just to prove how pointless it is. Guess they weren't a fan of it...

If they really want to stop minors from getting on they need full on driver's licenses with pics of the person holding the license up beside them and pics with the people next to their discord tag, etc. etc... Even then that all can be easily photoshopped, like I mentioned before.

Be that as it may, that some of you don't like the idea of showing an id, a lot of us do not WISH to deal with minors. Especially when some minors actively get adults into trouble. So. Either have a real id on hand, or don't join their server. Don't like needing to be ID'd? Then maybe you should go be somewhere else. You're about as bad as the people I have to id at work when they buy and AGE RESTRICTED item. It's the law. Either be of age and comply with the rules, or turn around and get the fuck out. I made a post showing how easy it is to put out a fake I.D. to get on the server, barely 20 seconds using paint and google. (And it was taken down funnily enough lol)

Wow wow calm down, I wasn't trying to point finger at anyone or anything, like I said, I get WHY it's like that, the only thing I wanted to point out is simply that we are on the Internet, so yes, giving an ID to a total stranger is the biggest no you could do, it's private information after all.

I'd totally comply if I was facing an actual authoritie (Police, FBI, or anyone who has a legit power of asking me for such thing), but giving and ID to someone i never talked before on discord to join a 18+ server ? Nty, I prefer not to get into any sort of trouble because of that.

I totally get the reasoning for asking for it and understand it, I just hope you guys understand my reasoning for not wanting it and understand it too.

The problem with that logic is that most ids found off of google are invalid these days. The ids are constantly changing in appearance. Some of us can actually spot the differences. Something you probably haven't really taken into account for. Either way. You want in, you provide proof of age. Otherwise, shove off. The protocol isn't changing for you. It still will stand. If that's a problem for you, then it's a you problem and you can frankly put, be someplace else. Doesn't matter what you have to say on this subject as you're not the one in charge of the server.

Here, I will put it for you simple: If you want access, provide ID. Otherwise, don't bother coming in. It's that simple. Not changing. No one is holding a gun to your head saying you have to join every server that crops up.

I just like pointing out the flaws in needless systems. The I.D. check is about as good as the "Are you over 18?" prompts on literally any site.. kinda like the one we're already on.. hmmmm.. It's just extra, needless steps. 

Also, I'm well within my right to complain about something I don't agree with : ) Doesn't matter what you say really, I'm just informing people that are looking through the comments what kind of people they might be dealing with.

Just for clarification.

Although it says "ID is required", all is really needed is just the DOB, you could blur anything else and check on it.

But I frankly understand the reason you had to leave and I just wish you a safe day around!

Literally pointed out you can EASILY photoshop your way through all this, but yeah just ignore that and say you've countered me.. somehow. Let's ignore the fact I've already snuck two accounts onto the server with said photoshop method and no one has batted an eye or caught on in the slightest. 

The ID verification thing was suspicious at first, and after some clarification on what all it entails its just pointless to even have. This isn't a conversation, its a one-sided butcher show, and I'm not the one looking like a rack of ribs on a meat hook.

Just because someone doesn't want to get I.D.'d doesn't mean they are underaged, believe it or not, MOST people want to maintain their anonymity online ESPECIALLY when related to pornographic material. So an I.D. check, while able to provide security if done correctly, is also extremely invasive of one's privacy and anonymity. If you're okay with this, go into public with some printed out pictures on massive posterboards with the most degenerate porn you get off to and parade around telling people you like watching that stuff. More or less what CAN happen.

Brother, I don't think you can say who can or not say a thing around here. how such a small thing sparked this is beyond me, I saw the verification system and I have to say it is a bit pointless, that aside I rather don't enter in a server where people that go to a site where they have a few posts, not even an avatar, start to act like they are the owners of the site,... also you aren't the owner of the discord server, why are you defending the discord again my dude? that should be on the discord owner, not an user, but you do what you wish with your time my friend.

It is 100% a valid for not wanting your information on such an unsecure thing as someone's Discord DMs, which could so easily be leaked. Yes, let me give out my personal information to randos on the internet to participate in an unsecure modded porn game server.. makes sense.. At least when I go to buy alcohol and get carded its more secure and can't really be used against me in my personal life (I.E. no one is going to really bat an eye finding out you bought alcohol as opposed to finding out what your search history might be, let's face it, you're on LL you're probably into some kinky non-normal shit). News flash kiddo, just because you don't want to be carded, doesn't mean you can dictate whether or not the server cards you. All that talk of you photoshopping ids has you very suspect. And until you prove your age at this point, I am thoroughly convinced that you ARE an underaged minor and thusly you do not belong here. You think we're going to be out and public with all this material? There are underaged minors everywhere. We don't go throwing it around in public for the same reason we card everyone. Not dictating it, just pointing out how stupid it is. Bro, you can literally go to google and find the licenses and I.D.s from literally anywhere. If your false sense of security in what an easily compromised system is what helps you sleep at night fine, maybe that's why you're so hostile and defensive, realizing how easy it is to bypass the 'I.D. check' you guys are touting. 

You call me ignorant, but you've been literally ignoring everything I've said and then saying "I've contradicted everything you've said!" Talk about irony..  Then trying to paint a false image of me by saying I'm advocating for kids to be on a nsfw server : / Think that says more about you then me that you're so focused on kids.. My main issue has been player anonymity and privacy, because you know.. most people don't want their face attached to the pornographic material they like engaging in, but you keep bringing up kids. You say you don't keep the info, but what do you do.. delete it.. you really think its gone? You really think that shit can't be retrieved? And how do I know you actually delete the details, for all I know you collect that information in a folder, all we have is your word. There is no security or guarantee of safety for the user or continuity of anonymity which is one of the greatest protections anyone can have online. Then again, I can't expect someone to think of all the possible risks and dangers of simply giving out your info to randos online that does exactly that without a second thought. If you think someone implementing an i.d. check makes them trustworthy.. I have some ads on some websites you can click on and fill in the blanks for, tons of benefits, I'm sure they'd appreciate your I.D. as well since you're so eager to give it out without regard for your own security. Hell, you keep saying you'd gladly provide proof of your own I.D. well.. I'm not seeing it. I'm not seeing a pic of you here proving its really your I.D. I am by no means saying you should but hell you've been the one saying you would. (Also yeah can totally, easily photoshop a pic from google, live in denial as much as you want, its easy to do. Main way people verify if an I.D. is legit or not is by having it in hand and knowing what watermarks and such to look for.)

Again, you haven't, and you really don't know what Irony is. Quite a few people here aren't comfortable giving out their personal info. Either your i.d. check is laughably ineffective and might as well not exist, or its so intrusive and extensive and comprehensive that people really REALLY don't wanna give out that kind of info online. I mean idc what your community really thinks of me tbh lol. A good chunk of people on here aren't impressed with the way you or the server is being handled and managed. Besides I've already found another, better, and more populated server. Again, I just want to educate people on the security risks they are potentially engaging with in this server. Either its laughably easy to get by the verification or its way too intrusive and is a huge risk. 

All you've been able to say is "You won't show me your personal information so clearly you're wrong." Saying that like you've somehow won.. Given how vitriolic you've been giving my personal information to you is the last thing I want to do or anyone should do. Given the spiteful fellow you seem to be, you'd most likely spread it all over disreputable sites. Yeah.. no buddy, you and the server are super suspicious. Hell you've made it even more suspicious by trying (And failing) to argue against me in bad faith. All you've done is make yourself look like an ass and make the server look suspicious af.
