D_ManXX2 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Like the title says what is the FPS cap that New Vegas plays under ?? I have been trying to get some more fluent animations going but somehow when in New Vegas they move completely highspeed Witch kills the entire purpose of the animation and it won't look right.
Ark of Truth Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I believe it is 60. However you can change it in the ini file.
D_ManXX2 Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 So if i change that to 30 it should be able to force to slow down a animation itself ?? or is done differently ??
BruceWayne Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 There is no cap. However, you can cap FPS with either an ENB or with the Stutter Remover.
D_ManXX2 Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 Then maybe i should explain it somewhat differently. OptimalFPSForAnimations.7z This animation looks ok and more fluent in blender but somehow when i use it in game the animations plays way too fast. That it looks more like you hit fast forward then actually play at the same speed like blender does. It is currently set to play at 25 FPS yet in game looks more like 100 FPS, not sure why it does it.
Jayce Dimmer Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I've found that if I play over 30 fps in Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, everything is sped up. The physics also go haywire after 59 fps. Try frame-capping Fallout to 30.
