UplayR94's ?K-Pop Inspired? Sims

 

Hello everyone! I'm UplayR94 (who also goes by the name of BWorthTownFM on some social media), and after releasing my first content again after my MMD animations with my footballer sims, I thought: Why not also release my K-Pop inspired sims used in my video? So, here we go!

 

Hopefully, the upcoming year of 2023 will run better soon!

The list of my featured sims available for download will grow as new sims will be introduced on my YouTube channel.

My Sims will also be available on Patreon or the official Gallery (you still need the CC List for all the CC used from Patreon or here, though),

How to download and use my Sims:

1. Have Mods and Custom Content "enabled" in the game settings.
2. After you download my sim, extract the ZIP-file. You will find a bunch of files, along with a Readme-file and a CC List.
3. Follow the instructions and links to get all the CC required for your "Mods" folder.
4. Put all the files (except the Readme-file and CC List) into Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Tray.
5. To find the sim you've downloaded on the Gallery, make sure to check "include custom content" option. You can find it on the left side of the Gallery.

6. You can search up my sims in the Gallery by typing "UplayR94" in the search bar of "EA-ID".

 

Make sure to read the T.O.U. listed in the Readme-File.
 

This is the first time I post my female sims outside of the gallery, so please be understanding. If you like my sim creations, I will happily upload more for you to enjoy!

While it may be convenient to include the CC files within the ZIP-file with the tray files alongside it, there are many reasons I decided against this practice:

1st, it is to ensure that the original CC creators are properly credited and linked back so that other simmers can conveniently get other CC they're interested in. Too many times I have seen in the MMD community people using stuff from animators and not linking back/crediting or even $reselling$ it. This in result, has damaged the reputation of Simmers to the MMD community, with many MMD animators now disallowing their stuff to be used in Sims 4.

2nd, it is to make sure that users read the provided documents properly so that they acknowledge the usage terms of the provided content. This may sound incredibly boring, and I really don't want to write a Readme or CC List either, but if simmers don't get the right CC, their sim will just look different (Proof: personal experience, I downloaded Hyungry's sims he shared via Patreon, and despite having included all of the CC provided, the Jace sim from Trespasser still doesn't come out like in the promotional images advertised - This is not to complain about Hyungry's competence, in fact, we are mutual friends on Twitter, however, it still can be annoying to realize a sim not coming out as expected)

3rd and probably most important to me: it is to ensure you have good compatibility with my sims distributed this way. You have control of what you download and what you already may have in your Mods folder. Despite being seldomly updated, CC can become outdated. I have seen many times simmers witnessing the Sims becoming broken and complaining to the Sim creators when they have no control over the CC themselves. They're pretty much up to the judgment of CC creators to update their CC, if used for the sim. If it's not updated, then they will have to take it out or replace it, which may potentially alter the sim's appearance to an extent (Presets for example).

I will only share CC I personally edited (and if their T.O,U allows to do so or it is a trivial change such as enabling skin overlays tagged for young (adults) for teens), or there's a minor asking for CC that's only available via Loverslab (and the CC is for General Audiences, such as erplederp's Natural Body Moles)

TL;DR: Credit Creators, read the Readme, download what you desire ?
