Outdated/Scraped Stuff

 



I decided to pick up that CBBE-NV and tweaked it.

I made it seamless, sort of. The back part of the neck isn't the best. The mesh needs a little tweaking on the seams, and the legs don't look too good, so I'll tweak them too. I will probably reshape the body a little, the legs are too bow legged, and the arms are too thin. Narrower shoulders, etc.

I feel like the bodyslide thing is worthless, so I might make the body compatible with the default NV Compat Skeleton and manually edit the body proportions if needed. This will also make it easier to convert other clothes to the CBBE body.

This will need new slider presets. If anyone is up to the task let me know.

Update:

Finished tweaking the body, using the type4 body fixes. Smaller feet, repositioned arms and legs. I also softened the neck seam nearby edges. I'm not sure I want to do anything for the wrists. I am considering using the CBBE hands. But that is going to be hell to rig. Why do I do this to myself? If I was any smarter I wouldn't be doing this in the first place.

Some testing with my custom race. The neck has a gap, but it's the headmesh fault.

Some more works. I swapped from CBBE to CBBE 3BA (this doesn't mean there will be physics, only that the body is even more high poly) also more detailed private bits.

I am porting the complete KS Hairdos from Skyrim and will release once it's done (currently I have done about 400 hairs out of 800 or so)

A few samples, although the original mod has the whole hair chart

I actually got CBBE to work in my game. I would totally pay you for your new body.

But the body is CBBE, with a custom preset. Skin is demoniac.

Done around 500 hairs from KS Hairdos

And I ported a whole lot of outfits from skyrim (around 20-25)
I am also close to getting rid of any neck and hand seam.
The CBBE I am working on is a direct port of the skyrim cbbe 3ba, with more vertex for more accurate sliders. As of now, the FNV races will not work, there is a huge hap between the body and the heads. I didn't want to touch the cbbe body too much, so I decided to port over the skyrim races instead of adapting the skyrim stuff to FNV. So nothing from FNV will work on my CBBE. I have ported a few races but face morphs aren't possible for now. (it's a pain to do and I'm lazy) I will however also try to adapt the fnv head to the new CBBE, which is going to be a hard work too...
Sadly, my CBBE still has weighting issues especially on the armpits/shoulders that is taking me forever to figure out.

 

I also wanted to say that I am finally starting to like my work. After trying so many settings, and countless hours of work, the transformation for my custom character went from this:

You are very hard on yourself. Your work is excellent. For years, I was and am still playing FO4 on my PC. Got bored with the lack of roleplay and decided to get into FO3/FONV/TTW. Never knew there was a CBBE body attempt. Took a bit ,got it working but hoped someone would improve on it. When I saw your attempt, I got excited for an improved version. I had no issues with the 6m, etc. bodies for FONV other than the shoulders were too wide and squared with very small scale feet. That is why I am playing CBBE in FONV universe. Your outfits look wonderful but I need to stay with CBBE conversions right now. Have not played Skyrim in a long time, but I would steal your character as mine, in a heartbeat. Totally lovin the ears!

I tried FO4 and I just couldn't stick, even if it's visually better.  Same with Skyrim.
I had no issues with the type bodies from fnv, but I did want to implement body sliders and it's impossible to not break seams with that body, and it's just easier to convert clothing from skyrim cbbe to fallout cbbe than to the type body.
The shoulder is an issue with the skeleton... Because it gives me troubles with CBBE as well, the feet well, I wasn't the happiest with fnv feet but it wasn't that big of a deal.
For some reason no matter how much effort I put in my work, I think it's good until I see other people's screenshots and I feel like mine are terrible. I do want to delete almost everything I posted but I decided to let it stay even though I dislike it.
My character is an OC I have since years, just turned into a demon because why not. I based it off that Pei follower, I just changed the skin color, the eyes from yellow to pink and lately I used a high poly head conversion. She still needs her makeup fixed (since her color theme is pink, she needs pink lipstick and eyeshadow like on the previous texture attempts) But after 50 tries I think I am happy with her eyes, face shape etc.

It's impossible to play an aa in fnv, they look so bad... Before I started working on cbbe and all of that I attempted a character, tweaked from a nexus follower, I removed the face tint/makeup that gives that greenish color to the aa races and got this. and the tooth gap is so cute.

I vote for Katire. Looks more authentic with ethnic features. But you are the artist and ultimately your choice..

Took a break for a while. I am back with new projects. I picked up the FNV Type3 body, made it high poly, added bnb, and working on a Bodyslide.Screenshot2023-12-19152159.png.a2887405f61a5f8cc97fdfae562f68fe.png

Copied from the post I made on Nexus:

I'm working on my own Type3 body, I named it TypeA (guess why)
With BodySlide addon, BNB and working dismemberment.
Manually editing normals to make the body seamless, and also Type4 compatible to make things less troublesome, as in current seamless outfits/races having to be redone again, there is no need, and I won't be working on old or child races, only the adult female. I'm not sure I can do the rest of the races either (tribals, ghouls, too much work that has already been done)
I can't use the seam templates from Type4, because I made the body high poly, it doesn't work, so it has to be done manually.

Regarding BodySlide, I need input creating new sliders.
Well first of all, I'm not sure if anyone knows a way to sort the sliders alphabetically? Because I have no idea how and it looks chaotic.
I used a few Type based bodies with free permission to use as references to make sliders, and I came up with a few myself.
Any suggestion or feedback
Here's the list of the current sliders (just names, but nsfw-ish)
I can't make sliders from bodies that don't allow asset use since I need them for reference.
Also don't expect much from me, I suck at this lol
