Single bolt from the quiver on the right arm

When walking or idling my character has a bolt glued on her arm. Now this is a harmless bug but it's immersion breaking, this is already on top of clipping of holsters such as weapons and quivers for which I know there is no fix. As is customary here's my load order:

I've googled for a similar issue but all I got was people getting shot. This is not the case for me. And I've also found a fix which is to equip and unequip the quiver or unholster the crossbow and that gets rid of it. But this is a bandaid solution because the bug can reappear at any time. I'm looking for a more permanent solution if there is any.

Clipping holsters and the like can be fixed with RaceMenu. It has comprehensive sliders for positioning quivers for instance.

 

As far as I know the only way to get an arrow stuck to your hand like that would be with either 1) a wearable armor item (unlikely in this case, considering how it looks) and 2) skeleton adjustments. Thus I'd suggest you start by inspecting the skeleton you're using. Maybe reinstall XPMSE, and go through the options it provides. One of them for instance is to place daggers on your back, maybe another is for holding a bolt in your hand?

It's possible it's caused by some misconfiguration, but what I've seen in my game is that sometimes a bolt gets 'glitch-stuck' in-hand or doesn't fade after heal. Perhaps such a bolt didn't hit "flesh", so wasn't registered as being a hit, and so didn't fade afterward?
