Voicing a mod using VA Synth

Recommended Posts

Ā

Hi.

Ā

First things first. I'm a noob modder who just got into business. So some of the things I say might not be very easy to understand.

Ā

I'm currently voicing the mod 'Commonwealth Slavers' by JB.

Although everything was an endless wave of trials & errors, I finally somehow managed to get the voices to come out in-game.

Ā

However, the problem now is this.

The dialogues progress way to faster than it used to be.

In vanilla, when you listen to NPCs conversating, you can see that there are slight second delays between line, allowing us to better hear the them.

Now, what I voices, goes like this. Note that voices sound like they are played simultaneously, as if sentences are tied together.

Ā

Ā

This is the unvoiced state, for your comparison.Ā

Would it be possible to add some delay between the lines?Ā

If so, how would that be achieved?

Ā

I thank you all who took precious time to view this topic. :)Ā

Sorry for my bad english. I'm not a native speaker.Ā

Ooohh, now I understand what you meant.Ā

I thought that the actors spoke too fast, that they were not understood (like when some actors say "OK", or other short words).Ā Short words do not go well with this VA Synth.Ā

Ā

What you are saying is inevitable. The same thing happens in Nuka Ride. There is a scene where two characters walk to the Dry Rock Gulch saloon, with one of them telling a story. This story is "made" to last just long enough for it to end when they enter the saloon.Ā

Ā

With the voices, the story ends halfway through xDĀ

Ā

The same thing will happen with CS. I don't think you should worry about that.Ā
