Why disable Mods after an Update?

Of course I'm going to restart to see if my mods are busted. There's no reason at all to disable them. A notice that the game has been updated and they probably took all the fun out of the game (again) is all that is needed.

They disable mod because they hope to decrease people reporting issue because of broken mods.

I've a question : When there is an update my game refuse to launch until I've update my game. Is there a way to prevent that ?

If a could delay for a week or two, it could be handy.

Turn Origin to offline-mode. You wont be able to access the gallery in the meanwhile, but if you are awaiting mod updates, it's worth it.

Shut down your internet connection before starting Origin. because sometimes Origin will force an Origin update and then when it starts, it will force you to do a Sims 4 update.

Trick is to know when they do these updates, so you can avoid them.
