TheDreadBaron Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I have recently installed all of the files from the Sexout compilation and I have run in to a bit of a problem with the npcs. Whenever I approach one of them for sex via the speech options they say okay and then proceed to ignore me. I am unsure if this is a problem with the animations or not since it never seems to have triggered a sequence and The NPCs don't even take off their clothes. I will also note that I had several animation mods installed including an idle replacer, New Vegas Reanimated, and Umpas dance mod, but I have since deactivated them and it is still not working. Help would be appreciated, thanks.
BruceWayne Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Remove (not just untick) all animation mods from your data folder or check the second post in the installation guide to make them compatible. (link in my signature) Check the guide for good measure, in case you've forgot to install something, like the NVSE extender. If that doesn't help, post your load order.
TheDreadBaron Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 I completely removed the animation mods and reinstalled sexout but still no luck.. It looks like I had missed the script extender for NVSE so I installed that hoping it would fix it but unfortunately the problem remains. Here is my load order, hopefully there is something in here that can help. TheDreadBaron Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 I've just noticed that SexoutSharedResources is above Sexout on the list. I've corrected it but unfortunately the problem persists :/
RitualClarity Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 The best way to be sure that the base is working correctly is to get the base to work correctly before loading a lot of mods. This means for you removal of all the mods except sexout and its required files. There is a tutorial for the installation that is easy to follow from BruceWayne. Then after following that and you are sure that all the steps have been done move to SCR or SSR. I would advise only using one of those two until you become more comfortable with sexout and able to diagnose many of the issues that arise in sexout, conflicts etc. Right now you aren't at that point. After deciding which to use you load all the added files required. For SSR there isn't anything else to load and you move to the last step loading one mod to test the game. If that works move on to other mods. For SCR there are alot of files to download and install to get it to work correctly. Don't worry to much. At this point the most that will happen is some floating heads or giant red triangles, nothing to harm your game permanently This is complex steps to do and will take a lot of time to get right. If done as mentioned above you will be ready to run mods and minimize most of the issues and be able to see and diagnose most of the issues yourself. Trust me, I was in your shoes and now because I slowly loaded the mods and learned about them and modding in general I can diagnose most problems myself. Many times even fixing the issues myself. Sure sometimes I need to contact the creator but now the vast majority of the time I am able to not only tell which mod is causing the issue but many times even situations or context where the issue arises which helps the creator resolve the problems or in some cases even fix the mod for future users.
