How do I trick a furniture piece into thinking its occupied?

So some furniture (or craftables in general) move (play animations) when occupied by npc or player or when powered. For example ball pitcher has 2 wheels that rotate when a baseball (or a grenade) is fired. A weight bench also has moving weights when its occupied by npc/pc. A generator is shaking when turned on. How do i make furniture move(play animations) without turning on, assigning anyone to them etc. Thanks :)

 

EDIT: To narrow possible answers I'm particularly interested in the assignable furniture. So the question is - How do i trick a furniture piece ito thinking its occupied?

 

Edit2: I just discovered the PlaceFurnitureTester command and then I set his scale to 0.01. It kinda works but thats not what I need.
