Werewolves freezing and crashing the game

Hi.

Been getting some issues with werewolves and how they seem to first freeze and then crash my game when I am around them or if I transform into one. My game is AE and it runs perfectly fine when I'm not around any werewolves, kinda sad because I do wanna do the quest with Hercine's cursed ring and all.

Help would be appriciated with this one because I have been trying to find a fix, but haven't found any so far. Thank you already. :]

When my werewolves used to crash the game, it was because they had a bad skeleton. The frame rate would get really low when a wolf was nearby and itd end with a crash.

 

Do you crash when a werewolf is nearby, or only when you look at the werewolf? (try spawning a werewolf using console commands, but look at the floor so that you cant see the werewolf at all and see if things still crash.)

you should only have one of those, also SOS fights with CF, so make sure you have werewolves disabled in one of them.

Crashing when anywhere near one, doesn't have to look at one.

Well I'm glad you think it's a shit show because wording something like that doesn't help anyone instead of telling if there is something actually wrong and I will disable one of them now that you said meantioned it.

it's werewolf body replacer mod on top of werewolf body replacer mod on top of werewolf body replacer mod on top of werewolf head LipSync mod, shit show is the best description. too many mods trying to replace the same mesh.

I Thanos snapped almost everything and I'm assuming it was the face expressions mod what was causing the crashes, but it's whatever now most of the mods I deleted just to be save. Doesn't crash being near Sinding now.

the hdt werewolves version of the expressions mod has special instructions for using it with other werewolf mods.

Well I did delete both and my game isn't freezing nor crashing around werewolves now so I say that I will do just fine without. Thanks for the help. Glad someone helped dummy like me. lol
