Pronouns

View File

This mod helps to remove unwanted characters typed in by accident into pronouns.
It removes `@` which is often typed in pronouns like `th@eir` or `h@er` by accident. The game will display `their` and `her` properly. It will not correct the saved pronouns.
It will not touch words starting or ending with '@'.
It's up to you to fix it in CAS, unless the profanity filter blocks this.

Installation
The ZIP file should be extracted into the `The Sims 4` folder to make sure that the folder structure is set up correctly.
* The mod documentation (everything in `mod_documentation`) should also not be stores in `Mods`.
* The mod `pronouns.ts4cript` itself should be stored in `Mods` or in a sub folder. I highly recommend storing it in `_o19_` so you know who created it.

Unless not yet installed:
Install S4CL as this mod is required.
* I highly recommend installing the S4CL files into `_cn_` so you know who contributed this mod.

Compatibility
This mod has been tested with 1.88.213 (2022-05-24) and S4CL v1.77 (2022-05-04).
It is expected to work with this and upcoming releases of TS4 and S4CL.
Older TS4 releases do not support pronouns.

How should I know?
I only heard of people pressing random keys to make the 'OK/Save' button available as it's greyed out for pronouns EA doesn't like. I can't fix everything but if they accidentally added '@' in the pronouns for their sims this mod should help them.
