I can go to big cities just fine, got the outdoor version of them, but Riverwood and Rorikstead I just cannot go near,

 

Then this second one, on a bridge I talked to an Afflicted and headed towards the npc when I reach the end of the bridge crash... However! On the fourth crash for a splt second there was a vortex churning in the air ahead of me then bam, CTD.

I don't claim to be familiar with all your mods so let me ask you the generic question, "which of those mods affect those areas?" It sounds like a problem with a bad mesh introduced by a mod so, if you turn off the ones that impact those locations, your issue should be resolved.

Well.. I dunno about the two villages yet but when I double checked the stuff that affects meshes I noticed an esp for Expanded Towns and cities was not checked. I loaded in and passed the part of the bridge that kept crashing me.

Yup...

 

still get random, utterly random, ctd's in the middle of combat against all sorts. No common factor in them so far. BAH. Glad I've gotten into the habit of saving often.
