Yes it can happen with some animations. You can adjust the positions in sexlab under animations editor for each animations. It will save it. Then you can export the settings for when you start a new game so you can just import the sexlab settings you saved (exported)

Animations are made with two (or more) bodies used by the animation author. They rarely match the bodies we use in game, and therefore the end result is parts that don't mesh as we expect them to. Can't speak for either OSTIM or flower girls, but with an SL animation, you have several hotkeys for adjusting each stage's positioning. (up down, right left, forward backward, as well as group rotation about the z-axis (ie, about a vertical pole through the participants). Stage adjustments made during animation are saved when the animation sequence ends.
