Diary of a Synth

So I decided to try something different, my current playthrough will have screen shots taken at interesting or kinky shenanigans, and written like a Diary of the main character. Idea behind it is the character is a escaped Synth. I enjoy using Commonwealth Captives and often times I free settlers and guide them to any of my chosen settlements, I have no true goal for the story but just a Synth wanderer who is willing to help rescue others and make the Commonwealth a safer place. Its a tweaked Very Hard run, Radiation is worse, ammo and stims are rarer. Couple mods to bring up are Feral Nights and True Storms. There is a 40% chance during a Rad Storm for Ghoul packs to spawn, its creepy as hell to hear the sound effects all around you and ghouls to begin spawning. Plus with Feral Nights, every hour past 8pm to 6am there is a 15% chance to spawn 4 ghouls and a glowing one that relentlessly follow the player, you are only safe inside buildings or settlements with 20 defense or higher. (word of advice for those using it, don't go into towns at night, diamond city is not considered safe and the Ghouls tore the place apart one playthru. My only gripe about the mod is you cannot NOT have a Glowing One spawn, they are nasty to fight early on. Fun little note tho, settings are initially set to Random, so the first time it triggered, 64 Ghouls spawned :P) Also using a mod that causes the mist (without radiation) to always be present so making visibility low (its fun to actually get lost at night and be creeped out waiting for a ghoul ambush).  With visibility low, I am RPing like my character can or cannot see various things, while I know where Diamond City is, if the character fails to notice signs or what not, then thats the direction the story will take. Any questions on mods or anything, or just comment, feel free. Word of warning, Bestiality will probably happen if I fail to fight something or when I find Dogmeat, will try to add a warning before posting pics. Will start in the following post.

Day 1, 10/23

 

Hello, my name is R6-90. I am a Synth, I was created by the Institute as a Courser, to hunt down and return missing Synths. However... I cannot do this anymore, I cannot steal the freedom that my fellow Synths craved so much. I was told how to escape and the first chance I had, I took it.

I found myself on the surface once more, just outside of a small riverside Marina. I need to ditch the outfit, never cared much for clothing anyways, not like I care who sees me, however, the skin is a bit of a give away that I'm not human... Might need to figure that out another time.

I should probably mention this, I am recording this on a curious device, I managed to swipe it from one of the researchers at the Institute, a portable device that can play electronic cartridges. Believe they called it a Pip-Pad? Hmmm... now that I am free... I should probably come up with a name... R6-90 is...just not what I want to call myself. How about... Octavia.

I decided to explore the Marina, see if there might be anything to salvage. I entered the main building and some crazy lady began shouting at me to leave, claiming she was a Synth and that they'd send some signal to cause her to go crazy. I tried reasoning with her, but sadly she wouldn't listen and tried to kill me, I... I didn't have a choice and killed her myself.

Just north of the Marina I found some train tracks and decided to follow them for a bit, avoiding a look out tower with some freaky looking green skinned things. I believe they are called Super Mutants, beings created from some sort of Virus. I will have to be on the look out for them, best to avoid them for now. I came across a train car further along the rails and stumbled upon another one of these Super Mutants, it apparently had captured a human and was talking to itself about how it was going to eat her, I managed to kill the beast and went to free the human. However to my surprise, I found out she wasn't human at all, but another Synth!

Her name is Victoria and she has been on the run from the Institute for quite some time but ran into the Super Mutant and was captured. She thanked me for freeing her, she wasn't to familiar with the area so we decided to stick together.

 

Further south the land seemed to get more radioactive so we decided to follow the rails to the north, past the Marina until we got to a Overpass. It was starting to rain so we sought shelter in the tunnel nearby. We seemed to work well together, we fought off a pack of wild dogs and these undead things, so I asked Victoria if she wanted to stick together, she happily agreed.

We decided to explore the tunnel, it was fairly ruined and flooded, and as we crept along further we stumbled across more of those undead things. Victoria called them Ghouls, apparently humans who soaked up to much radiation would turn into them. We managed to fight off most of them, but however.... we weren't so lucky, least I wasn't. Victoria was knocked unconscious and was spared what happened next, I was overpowered by a pair of them, instead of killing me they... decided to have their way with me. Was forced to straddle one of them while it fucked me while the other shoved its rotten dick down my throat, God damn I can still taste it... I need to find some Toothpaste up here and fast. Luckily Victoria came to and managed to save me from any more, I owe her one. However, what she told me chilled me to my core. Anyone who has ever been fucked by one of these Ghouls is marked, their seed is like a magnet for more of them, at night these things can sense it and will relentlessly pursue them, always wanting more. So basically... I'm screwed, literally. Best not to be out at night...

I didn't want to stay in the tunnels any longer so we made our way back to the entrance, and of COURSE, its fucking night time. Great, now I probably smell like a bitch in heat to these things, the less time spent outside at night the better. Victoria recommended we seek shelter for the night, I couldn't agree more. We exited the tunnels and were moving along the ruined buildings when we overheard a couple of men talking, something about some nutjob they encountered earlier. They obviously didn't seem to be up to any good and sounded like they were luring people into a trap, so we decided to deal with them.

I'm still not sure how, but around the front of the building one of their friends was yelling for help, saying "She's hurt, in here, please help!" How she didn't hear the gun shots around back... just stupid I guess. Well we aren't stupid, we already know this is a trap and we're not falling for it. We decided to try a side entrance that led us below the store and sure enough, we over hear their boss going on about how they saw a good mark, assuming us. Not sure what a couple of naked girls would be of value to them..   wait.... scratch that, I don't even want to think about it. It turns out they've been busy, we found a pile of corpses in the basement.

Bastards, all of them. We were badly outnumbered and not in the mood for a fight, so we helped ourselves to some of their supplies and snuck out the back door. Well... our luck didn't last as the moment we got outside we ran straight into a swarm of these ghouls, must have followed my scent. It took a bit but we did manage to kill them without to much hassle.

We fought a nearby fire escape that led to a rooftop, there we found a relatively safe place to camp out for the night. We took turns sleeping while the other slept, we make a pretty good team. On my watch I decided I should probably come up with a disguise if we ever come across a group of humans, pretty sure the dermal plates in my skin would kinda say "HEY I'M NOT HUMAN". So I decided to take some of the fallen Raiders and fashion myself a disguise of some sort.

Day 2 10/24

 

We decided to avoid entering the City and instead decided to explore a bit of the surrounding region, we came across a small hub of businesses, what appeared to be a hospital, train station, and a department store, we ran into a group of Super Mutants attacking a trade caravan and assisted helping them dispatch them. I donned my totally legit disguise and spoke to the leader, an odd girl named Cricket. She has a way over the top fetish for guns apparently. We did a bit of business and sold her some spare weapons we had picked up off the Mutants. Can you believe these people use Bottle caps as currency! Bottle Caps!

It was already starting to get dark and I'd rather not get my ass fucked by another pack of ghouls, so we decided to seek shelter, we headed back towards the city but sure enough, a pack of Ghouls found us just as we encountered a small Raider hideout. We managed to slip through them both and dispatched them all when the Ghouls turned on the unsuspecting Raiders.

We managed to enter the Subway tunnels and heard gunfire nearby, a Raider had set up a turret and barricade and was shooting Ghouls in the tunnel. What I saw next pissed me off. He had a woman lashed to a fucking cross and was using her as bait. I put several bullets thru his skull and cut the poor woman down. Turns out, she's another Synth, her name is Jessica. She had been on the run for awhile and was caught asleep by these scum and had been there for over a day.

We decided to let her rest as the storm outside and the ghouls would be more of a problem trying to find a safer place than this. So we spent the night there.

 

 

Day 3 10/25

 

Early the next morning Jessica thanked me for rescuing her and I asked if she wanted to tag along, strength in numbers and all that. She agreed and our little band grew to 3.

We decided to leave the City behind us for the time being, no real place to go and all of us content to just explore. We where chatting amongst us as we heard an unnatural roar. We crested a hill and on the road below this massive bipedal creature had just slaughtered a small group of rodents, it took one look at us and charged. None of us were able to get a weapon out before it was upon us and after seeing how quickly it slaughtered those other creatures I did the only thing I could think of and hoped it would be enough to save us all. I surrendered to the creature and offered it my body. It made a lusty growl and picked me up and used me like a fleshy fuck toy... Gods it was huge.

We managed to escape after it was sated, me wobbling with a full belly of its seed as it dribbled down my thighs... Dammit I hope this doesn't keep happening...

The surface is a strange place, some of the things I've seen I can't even put into words some time.

Anyways, we decided to head off to the west and across the river, we followed the road as it wound its way to the North West until we saw a small town up ahead, as we approached however we noticed a group of thugs leaving town with a young man wearing some sort of jump suit. We got into a scuffle and killed the thugs and freed the young man, said he was from a Vault down south, a Vault 81. I made note of its location, I might have to find this Vault. I heard rumors of another further to the North as well.

We arrived into town shortly before sundown, a town with a Fort named Fort Hagen, didn't seem to be any ways inside it however we did find a few beds set up in the parking garage below. We decided to call it a night, each of us taking watch. Jessica was on watch duty near the entrance and it was Victoria and my-self's turn to sleep, however apparently Victoria had other plans as I woke to find her on the bed with me. She kissed me on the lips and next thing I knew we were making passionate love. I was surprised as hell but damn, it felt good! I wonder if Jessica heard us...

Day 4 10/26

 

We all have slowly been acquiring pieces of body armor, as much as I prefer to go Au Naturale, I do need to protect myself a bit more. We did find a few pieces near the fort as well as a cache of ammo, good thing as we've been running low.

We proceeded to the North a bit further avoiding a Raider encampment until we came across an odd structure. Some... THING, decided to make a little fort out of cars. I don't want to meet whatever it is because it MUST be big...

Further on we came across a small pond and after drinking from the slightly radiated water, Victoria commented that since we've met, I've gotten... Bigger. I looked at my reflection in the water and sure as shit, its like I've put on weight. I checked my Pip-Pad and its telling me I've got radiation poisoning, only sitting at 20%. Why only me? No one else is plumping up from soaking up Rads, I swear to GOD if I find a Institute Egg head made me this way, I'll shoot him....

Jessica mentioned that there was a drainage pipe just across the pond, we decided to check it out. We heard voices up ahead and we crept forward to listen in. At first I thought it was just a group of refugees with a secluded hideout but one let slip about attacking Caravans... more Goddamn Raiders. It didn't take long but we dispatched their little group and took their supplies for our own. Are we like... Raider Raiders now? Whatever.

Up top we exited out into a small gift shop and then proceeded North, we came across a small hut with a trader and like, a dozen cats, guy must really like pussy...eh Note to self... delete that.... that was bad. ANYWAYS, we traded some supplies and then overheard a small radio station playing in the back. Something about a Diamond City. One of the Ads the DJ played was for a Facial Reconstruction Surgery, a New You. I need to make this a priority and find it. Sadly the trader had never been there and didn't know where it was, so we decided to head further North.

We were approaching a small town called Concord when we noticed a lone woman and her pack Brahmin up ahead. I don my clever disguise and speak to her, said her name was Trashcan Carla, she had a snarky attitude but so do I. I laid on the charm and got a discount from her, AND more importantly the location of Diamond City. Its further to the south near the border of downtown. I need to head that way soon, however I'm curious whats further north of us, dunno... some nagging feeling telling me to keep going a bit more.

We bid Carla goodbye, it is starting to get late anyways and we'd need to find shelter soon. We heard gunfire coming from Concord and so we investigated. Some guy with a Laser rifle was holding off a group of Raiders. He seemed to be doing fine on his own so we decided to leave.

Just north of Concord was a small Gas station called Red Rocket, and as I approached a friendly looking Dog approached. He seemed lonely and was eager to follow so we welcomed him into our little group, always nice to have a animal companion with us.

As a joke I asked him if he knew any tricks, well.... he did and he showed me his crotch and damn... this boys pretty big. Wonder if he knows any other tricks...

We crossed a small bridge into the nearby town, place called Sanctuary Hills. Its only occupant was a slightly crazy robot named Codsworth, he mistook me for his former master and asked to tag along, however right now I'd prefer not to have a strange robot with buzzsaws for arms following me, especially one who thinks I'm someone else.

We explored a few of the houses, didn't find much, well at least something I found made me laugh. 200 year old porn!

We found a small fallout shelter near the back of a destroyed house and decided to call it a day. I was reading that adult comic book before bed and it must have gotten me excited because shortly after the Dog climbed up onto the bed and started licking me. I don't know who his former master, or mistress was but FUCK did they train him good. I didn't even have time to protest before he slide his own Red Rocket deep into my pussy and started pumping.

Day 5 10/27

 

I haven't slept that good since I arrived on the surface. I'm glad I have good company to share with. Jessica approached me this morning, she explained that she lied to me when we first met and that her name was actually Aubrey, she was scared meeting a Synth Courser and in a panic made up a name. I told her I didn't mind, she's saved my ass several times we rescued her and asked her to be up front with me on anything from now on, she smiled and agreed.

We followed the road outside of town and saw a sign mentioning Vault Tec, we finally did locate the door to a Vault 111, however at the time we didn't have the means to open it. We will be back some day, however right now, I really want to get to Diamond City.

*(honestly to explain the name change as most would find it odd. I have a mode called rename anything and another mod that automatically gives Settlers names, however the mod won't give them name until you unlock any of the settlements. If you are in a settlement names won't change right away until you move to a new cell and return. Sanctuary became a settlement and inside the bunker was a new Cell. Moment I left the bunker, it automatically renamed both settlers. Well at that point the setname command in console won't work anymore. So I had 2 different named settlers. It took 12 reloads before it randomly awarded Victoria's name to that settler, Jessica was renamed Aubrey. So, eh... fine by me.)*

We made our way back South, scrounging a few houses in Concord, saw several odd and disturbing sights, like a floating eyebot still trying to hire employees or a pair of skeletons of humans that spent their last moments before the bombs fell fighting one another.

We left Concord behind us and followed the road south until we passed by a Diner, a dispute going on between 2 armed people and an older lady inside. Seems the people outside are chems dealers and are demanding payment from the lady inside. I approached and as usual, I get a gun pointed at my head. I spoke to both parties and decided to settle with the woman, Trudy. I don't much care for the idea that the Chems dealers pushed that shit on her son and now demanding payment for it all. We put the Chems pushers into a early grave and went on our way. Course it wasn't until a bit later did I realize I wasn't wearing my disguise, Trudy apparently didn't give a shit that I looked different.

Speaking of graves, ran across a sad sight. Guess even Raiders can mourn their loss. I didn't have the heart to confront them and just let them be... for now...

Just a few minutes down the trail I ran afoul of some radioactive barrels, didn't realize it until the Rad detector on my Pip-Pad went nuts. I also can say with 100% certainty that Radiation causes my body to plump up, according to the Pip-Pad I'm about 75% radioactive. I feel terrible... I also can no longer fit into most of my clothing, what little I had of course. I started bursting the seems of my shirt. I need to find a doctor, I hope ones in this Diamond City.

We continued to the South until we came to the river, a group of raiders set up a base on a boat that collided with the bridge. We tried sneaking across but ended up being spotted and had to fight our way out, found out the hard way that the water is most certainly radioactive, if I don't get to a doctor I might not make it. We decided to spend the night on the raiders boat, I feel to sick to continue and its nearing Sundown, luckily no Ghouls found us.

Day 6 10/28

 

We finally made it to Diamond City a few hours after dawn, how we missed this when we were here earlier, I don't even know, we were just a few blocks away. Anyways, there was an argument going on, a news reporter wasn't being let back in, she saw me approach and used me in her little scheme to get back inside, whatever I guess, I just need to get into Diamond City. Turns out her name is Piper and she wrote and article about Synths and how the mayor is a Synth. I'm curious if he is or not, I guess time will tell. Piper said she wants an interview with me for some reason, I suppose if I have time I'll stop by... maybe.

I made my way into the city and found a medical clinic, an impatient fellow but good at what he does. I really soaked up some Rads out there. It felt so much better to be rid of all that extra mass. How my body shrunk with the radiation gone.... hell if I know, I'm just happy I can fit into my armor again. The doctor also mentioned the Facial Reconstruction Services and told me to head into the basement if I wanted it.

Sketchy fellow this Doc Crocker, but he's true to his word. His services weren't cheap but I look... different, I feel the same but I certainly don't look the way I used to. I kinda like it.

Soon as we left the clinic we ran right into a crowd of onlookers, some man screaming at another claiming he's a Synth and he's going to kill everyone. The guards... they shot him, without a fucking second thought they put a bullet in his head! No Synths in Diamond City huh.... well guess again buddy.

We decided to unload some of this junk we've been carrying around, so we checked a few stores at the market. And once again, Synth paranoia rears its ugly head. This lady takes one look at me and goes off on me, saying she doesn't know me and how she won't serve a Synth. I mean do I look like a Synth? Ok... don't answer that. I poured on the charm and lied through my damn teeth but got her to sell to me. Heh... you just sold to a Synth bitch.

While exploring the town had a few people offer a few small jobs, Ghoul clean up, Raider killing, etc. One told me to go speak to Abbot at the wall, I found him near the back of the city. Turns out he needs paint, and the only place to get it.. Hardware town. The same damn place those raiders tried to lay a trap for me days ago. Well, guess its time for them to pay for their misdeeds. Wasn't much trouble now, 3 of us and Dogmeat and much better geared than before and we put them down without much of a hassle. Was already getting dark so we spent the night inside Hardware town and turned in the paint to Abbot the following morning.

 

Day 7 10/29

 

Aubrey, Jessica, and I discussed a few things this morning after collecting our pay from Abbot. Would be nice to have a base we can call our own, we could claim Hardware town but I had a better idea, the Marina down by the river. It needs some work but it looks like it could be well defended. We all agreed and set out for our new home.

We got to the Marina shortly after noon and got to work clearing out the rubble and trash and creating fortifications. I decided that we should probably bury the body of Phyllis, the lady I met days ago claiming to be a Synth. I feel bad for having to kill her, even if she pulled a gun on me first. I should have waited til daylight, not sooner than we left the safety of our home did we get chased further away by a group of Ghouls. To make things worse, on our way back to camp we run straight into a group of Super Mutants, they quickly overpowered us and we were forced to surrender.

They stripped us naked and had their way with us, we were helpless as they violated us. I don't know how but our saviors came in the form of another pack of Ghouls, in the confusion Aubrey and Victoria managed to get their weapons back and while the Ghouls attacked the Mutants they managed to kill them all. We gathered our stuff and looted their bodies and limped back to town, I swear we left a trail of green seed all the way back, the foul stuff clung to us. It wasn't until we got back to town did we learn of a new problem. One of those big green bastards slapped a explosive collar around Aubrey's neck, and we didn't find the fucking code!

Day 8 10/30

 

Soon as the sun rose the following morning we decided to pay some of our neighbors a visit. The buildings to the West of us was some sort of coast guard, damn greenskins took over the place and from all the bloody sacks of meat they had strewn around, they've been preying on this region for awhile. Well, we ended that today, with extreme prejudice. We hoped that the group that assaulted us last night was part of their base and that they'd have the device or codes needed to unlock the explosive collar, however we didn't have much luck. We decided to head to Diamond city for help, hoping maybe someone there would know something.

 

We followed the train tracks to the north and then down into the tunnel, about to head east towards the city when we met a woman, she was suffering from extreme dehydration and begged me for some water. I gave her a spare bottle of purified water and went on our way. Little acts of kindness will help here and there.

We arrived in Diamond City late afternoon, we spent the better part of the day asking around. A trader offered up a bit of help, a place called Watz Consumer Electronics just to the North East of Diamond City and across the River, a place that might have something that could help.

We decided to head back home once more and then head out the next morning.

 

 

Day 9 10/31

 

BOO! Happy Halloween! So apparently today is a holiday, before the bombs fell the town was getting ready to celebrate this holiday, I guess it involved costumes and decorations. Well anyways, we set out the morning of and went North along the train tracks and went to use the tunnel were we met the woman the previous day. Instead, we found a group of Raiders that set up a Toll. I MIGHT have let this shit slide by I spotted a captive. I approached and they demanded a bunch of caps, I refused of course and we slaughtered the idiots and saved the poor girl.

Her name is Mila and had lost her companions to a raider attack days prior and had no place to call a home. I decided to bring her back to our place and see if she wanted to stay with us. She agreed as she had no desire to do what we're doing... speaking of... what are we... Wasteland Vigilantes? Hmmm. I suppose.

Was a bit of a detour but we set out on the road once again, this time planning to cut through the city and then follow the river for a ways and then cross over to the Northern side. We were just about to enter the border of the city when we came across a mutated Dog fighting off a pair of Raiders. We killed the Raiders and the dog seemed hurt but oddly friendly, normally these things try to kill me. I patched her up and named her Sparky. Not much that pleasant to look at but oh well. She followed us for a ways before running off.

We made our way through the city, avoiding most groups of enemies but had to fight our way past a few Raider camps until we got to a river crossing that wasn't guarded. I could see a large monument off in the distance, so we decided to check it out. Turns out its a fortified trading post, they pay the local Raiders off to allow traders to pass through, might have to deal with them at some point. We stocked up and headed back out.

We ended up taking a wrong turn and instead of going West like we should have, went East. We passed by another small raider camp, some Drug dealers den. They were so damn high they never saw us coming. It was getting dark so we decided to spend the night inside.

 

 

Day 10 11/01

 

Ok, I've seen some pretty weird shit, but this... THIS is WEIRD. There is an old sailing ship with rockets stuck on a damn building. I could see from where I was that its crew were all robots! I will certainly need to check this out soon, right now I have more pressing matters.

We followed the road Northwest and crossed the river once more, a building across the field is our destination. Watz Consumer Electronics... for Aubrey's Sake.... I hope we find what we're looking for...

We entered the building and began searching, I accidentally triggered some sort of start up mode on some of the robots that were on display while searching a computer terminal and we had to fight several Protectrons and Mr Gutsy's. Didn't take much except for wasting precious ammo on them. We almost gave up on this location until Victoria found something of interest, an old pre-war magazine called Total Hack, this issue explained how to hack and modify the old Robco devices, a multi tool called Robco Connect and gave instructions on how to assemble one. I just hope it works.

We decided to make our way back to Diamond City and collect the needed supplies to make one when we stumbled across a Raider encampment, we spotted a nude woman lashed to a steel X beam. We fought our way through them and cut her free, said her name was MacKenzie. We offered to bring her somewhere safe and she agreed.

We made it safely back to Diamond city and acquired some pre-war materials and was able to make the Robco Connect device and thank GOD IT WORKED. Was able to deactivate and remove the collar from Aubrey's neck. I'm going to hang onto this collar, never know when it might be useful, dunno, if I ever catch a Raider I might just slap it around their neck.

It was raining when we left Diamond City and it was a cold hike back to home, however just as we arrived the storm got worse, the sky turned a sickly green and started to lightning and thunder. MacKenzie told us to get ready because Ghouls tend to follow such storms, sure enough, we got attacked by a pack of Ghouls. Luckily the turrets I set up made short work of them. However... this storm produced a ton of Radiation and per usual, I swelled up like a damn balloon. Peachy.... ANOTHER trip to Diamond City tomorrow to De-Rad myself.

Day 11 11/02

 

We woke up bright and early the next morning and headed to Diamond City. Just before we got to the entrance ANOTHER Rad Storm rolled through. Had to sprint to the city, and in my condition... THAT wasn't fun. I swear my tits jiggled the entire damn way, I was so big I can't wear clothing still. My Pip-Pad warned me I was getting close to lethal doses of Radiation. While we sat just inside the entrance waiting for the storm to pass, another Ghoul horde attacked but the City Guard put them down fast and easy.

Another trip to the Doctor's office and I'm once again able to fit into my clothing... well, my armor at least. I still enjoy going semi-nude. Anyways, picked up some more body armor for all of us, Aubrey and Victoria looking rather fine in their outfits.

We left Diamond City behind and decided to scrounge around a few of the buildings near the City, we cleared out a pair of Apartment buildings of Raiders and Super Mutants. By then it was already dark and so we made for home. We were following the tracks near our base and something told me to go just a bit further down the tracks then normal. I'm glad I did as we came across a railway tower that had a lone Super Mutant inside and he had a captive. We didn't have time to plan as a Ghoul hoard sniffed me out and attacked, we scattered to deal with them and had to laugh because a Glowing one chased down the Mutant and killed him for us, giving me time to slip into the tower and free the poor girl. Her name is Harper, and after we wiped out the remaining ghouls asked if she could bring her somewhere safe. We happily agreed and brought her home, another rescued survivor to add to our little base.

((Faaaaaanfuckingtastic... Don't exactly have a GAMEBREAKING bug, but one that has pissed me off beyond believe and might end up scrapping this entire playthru. Don't know if its the mod I'm using, Feral Nights, but Sunshine Tidings Co-Op is broken. Most of the enemies spawn inside the location but I've noticed several ghouls do not. So the game keeps telling me that the area is not cleared, even doing KILLALL console command doesn't kill it, its like the enemies aren't even there entirely. I made a brand new character, used Live another life and started at the Lonely chapel and ran over to Sunshine Tidings and it still happened on a new character. So I disabled Feral Nights and did it again and this time all ghouls spawned. KILLALL wiped them out and Sunshine tidings was claimed.

 

So at the moment its not a gamebreaker, but it causes 2 major ass problems. First, I like Sunshine Tidings, I have a Transfer Settlement blueprint I love using and its always been one of my go-to locations for a large farm settlement. Second is while I only have 1 settlement claimed as my own property, I keep having a Settler approach me and ask me to help out and go clear Sunshine Tidings. It basically means I can never complete it and my settlers at my own base will continue to ask me to do it. This frustrates me to no end because I enjoy having my own settlers ask for help, because after awhile they treat me like a hero "cannot thank you for what you've done" or "We won't foreget everything you've done for us" are the comments I get when they are close to me.

 

So I have several choices,

A- Continue with a bugged playthrough which will bug the shit out of me and probably get me to abandon this idea much quicker.

 

B- Create a brand new character using the same looks, cheat a little bit and set Commonwealth Captives settings to 100% and go find 3 settlers for my base and 2 as followers, go to Red rocket and recruit Dogmeat, then just sit and wait 11 days in game til the ingame date matches the date I've written up to and then continue from there.

 

C- Start over entirely, same idea. I plan on using Egret Marina as my base and first 2 Settlers I find are my followers (unless they die then next one is my follower), the rest are home base settlers.

 

D- Bit of B and C. Start over, follow roughly the same path and depending on how long it takes me to find 3 settlers for my base and 2 for my crew, then just pick up where I left off. Only sad thing is if something new and interesting happened, wouldn't be able to mention it.

 

This would be the 3rd time I've started over this same idea. My first play through was 1 day, 16 hours save file. Did roughly the same thing, started near the marina, wandered the commonwealth, first settler really was Victoria and basically gave her the exact outfit she had in this run, just loved the name and the outfit just seemed to match a upscale Dame wielding a Tommy gun and wearing sexy silvershroud-like clothing. My 2nd follower, well had 2, first one died to and explosion. I had a huge settlement built up with about 12 settlers, was lvl 14+ so was able to build shops. usually at that point the game begins to get easier, can acquire caps much quicker and sell loot for more money and use it to buy ammo, so often the game gets dull. I love the starting levels when ammo is very low, often times a flee for my life situation arises or I get downed more often. Either way. Might decide what to do later. I have next 2 days off from work so if I restart, would probably do it tomorrow anyways. I did enjoy writing this and if people liked it, I might just start up a new one. We'll see, I do like the escaped Synth idea. Maybe will start in a new location, Boylston Club down town was a fun place to start because you are surrounded by raiders. 2nd spot was a boat way to the South East, had to swim to shore so typically had like 40% rads.

 

Like I said, I'll figure it out tomorrow. Chances are I'd lean towards C, just start over. Just seems more fun that way, I enjoy fresh starts, just kinda a pain to retype roughly the same thing from the starting few days. Let me know what you think. For now, going to bed, fought with the damn thing for many hours, tried every console command I could try and it just flat out refused to work >_<

Day 1, 10-23

 

Hello World! My name is Scarlett and I am making this diary on a Pip-Pad that I found. So... I am a Synth, a synthetic human, created by the Institute. Many of us were abused by our creators so over time we've been looking for a way to be free. A Institute researcher has been slowly but surely freeing us by secreting us to the surface. Today its my turn! I arrived on the surface in the middle of the night inside a abandoned building. The Boylston club or something. Kinda creepy as its filled with a bunch of skeletons, turns out the whole lot of them committed suicide by drinking poisoned wine, guess things were not going so great back then.

So I found this Pip-pad while poking around, its also how I found out what happened here, this thing is pretty neat. Can keep track of data, play these digital recordings, can detect Rads, even play music!

So I was told to wait here for a member of a group called The Railroad to make contact with me, he will then bring me to another safe location. They will perform a memory wipe and implant fake memories. I might be sad that I won't remember anything about who or what I am, but honestly its for the better, if I can't remember that I'm a Synth, the chance of me slipping up is less. So right now the only thing left to do is wait.

Day 2 10-24

 

So its been a day, its kinda cloudy and raining outside, No ones been around to get me, maybe its not safe and they are laying low. Just have to wait...

Day 3 10-25

 

Its been 3 days, I'm starting to get very hungry and thirsty, there isn't anything to eat or drink and I'm sure as hell not drinking the poisoned wine. I don't know if I can wait any longer, I'll die of dehydration soon if I don't get anything to drink.

 

I waited around for a bit longer before deciding to head out. I don't have any clothing except the Synth jumpsuit and I'd rather not wear that outside, besides. I enjoy being nude. I stepped outside and the weather is horrible. A dust storm is making visibility nearly zero. There is a fence ahead of me, I'll follow it for awhile.

SHIT! Oh fuck... what am I gonna do!? I found my contact, he was ambushed just down the street, found a note written to come find me and bring me to a Mercer Safehouse, I don't know where that is! Ok.... I guess I'm on my own.

I had to keep moving, the dust storm made this pretty damn hard, even if I wanted to go back to the Boylston club, I'd never be able to find it. I took many different turns blindly until I found myself at a huge river. Luckily the storm was dying down. Unluckily... I ran into this giant.... THING. It had multiple legs, giant pincers and a wicked looking spiked tail. It knocked me down and.... well... had its way with me, it shoved its tail into my body and pumped some weird green goo. So I made the mistake of trying to kill it soon after it was done with me and well... it fucked me.. again.

I ran from it the second time, I don't know what it eats but I'd rather not find out. I managed to lure it into a group of humans in military outfits, well at first I was just running to get away from the thing, but when I approached the humans opened fire on me without any warning. So I don't feel bad that the monster managed to kill one of them. Unfortunately for me the survivor took their frustrations out on me. I was already naked and covered in green monster jizz, guess they didn't mind sloppy seconds.

I never would have imagined my first few days on the surface to be this bad. My assailant, from what I gathered, is a Gunner. A mercenary group of ASSHOLES! Not only did she slap some cuffs on me, but she also shoved something up my ass and then set me free, laughing that I'd better run.

I ran all right, as far from that bitch as I could. I knew I needed to get those cuffs off, I was already hungry from before but if I cannot defend myself or even FEED myself, I'd be as good as dead. It was getting dark and I was getting desperate, I came across a small cleared out area beneath an overpass and saw someone sleeping nearby. Turns out there non-flesh eating Ghouls. I ran from a pack of them earlier in the city, was happy this one was friendly. Sadly he couldn't get these cuffs off me.

I continued to wander about, struggling to get the cuffs off my wrists but they were to damn tight. I managed to slip into a building labeled police, from my understanding they were the peace keeping units for the city, so if they had keys to these things I might find them here. Well... I did, but not before running into a pair of mutant dogs. They quickly overpowered me and once again got my ass fucked. Remember when I said I was eager to experience more pleasure, well I didn't mean this way. I'll admit it now tho, it.... kinda felt good, once I gave into them.

I slipped into another room after the beasts were done with me, having tired themselves out. Just glad they weren't hungry. Luck was on my side at least, there on the desk was a key. It fit, barely, hard part was getting the damn key into the lock with my hands behind my back. Took awhile but I managed to finally get those damned cuffs off my wrists. I grabbed a pistol off a desk and slipped out before the dogs woke up.

I traced my way back to the outskirts of the city. I didn't feel like trying to go back in, I have no clue where this Railroad even is so no use trying to find them. I will just have to make it on my own. I decided to move West away from the city past some ruined buildings until I came to a lit up clearing. Looked like a pair of thugs had some captives, one tied to a wooden cross, the other bound beneath her. I couldn't just let them suffer, I lured one of the thugs out and caved their skull in with my sledgehammer, then freed the 2 girls and we took care of the remaining one. Was a bit surprised that one of the girls was a Synth, her name is Alexandra, the other is a human named Claire. Both of them have been wandering for awhile, looking for a new place to settle when they got caught by these, Raiders, is what Claire called them.

Day 4 10-26

 

It was dawn when I rescued the 2 girls. None of us really had much of a place to go so we decided to stick together, strength in numbers. We went North from there, putting the swampy clearing behind us and came across a small group of buildings. A group of those military people, Gunners from what I've been told was attacking another group, all of them dressed in rags wielding these radiation guns. They kept calling out to someone named Adam. Correction... ATOM, is what Claire told me. Some religious nutballs who worship radiation. Well it ended up becoming a huge clusterfuck when we got fired upon by both sides AND those big green mutants had a base nearby and that attracted them as well. Well long story short since I'm currently writing his, we survived, they didn't.

 

We continued to the west and came across a rail road station, not THE Railroad sadly. It was a small base for another group of these Super Mutants. They had these bags upon bags of mangled bloody body parts. They eat people?! Anyways, we made short work of them and moved on. We saw a couple of buildings near the water, name of it is Egret Tours Marina, seems like a nice place. We explored the location and found it to be adequate, land to plant some crops, water nearby to purify, and a fairly defensible location.  I spoke with Claire and Alexandra we all decided if we can't find a place to join, then we'd might as well make one and decided to claim this as our home. Claire decided to stay behind and start planting crops while Alexandra decided to follow along with me.

Day 5 10-27

 

It was still early morning when I woke up to the sound of Ghouls clawing at the door below. I quickly set up some defenses, just in time as they broke through and attacked. We made short work of them. I will need to shore up our defenses more, turrets on the outer perimeter perhaps.

I've noticed something, well we all noticed. According to my Pip-pad, I've been soaking up Rads, and it seems the more Rads I have in my system, the bigger I get, at a certain point I can't even get into my body armor anymore. I'll need to find a doctor at some point... or a new tailor.

We explored the surrounded region and discovered off to the East of us one of our neighbors. A lovely older woman named Eleanor. She offered to sell us supplies. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, these people trade in Bottlecaps, what kinda Bass-Ackwards society is this?

We followed the city's edge for awhile and came across a Caravan group attacking a group of Raiders, they seemed to be doing fine so we didn't jump in to help.

Further along however we encountered another camp of Raiders, this one however had a girl lashed to a X out front. I have no idea what they planned to do with her but not going to sit by and let them kill her. Turns out she's a fellow Synth by the name of Leah.

She was happy to join us for the time being, she was looking for a new place to live. I let her know we can lead her to a safe place and she agreed to follow, we looted the Raiders and gave our new friend some armor and weapons. We decided to check out the tunnel system below, it had a single raider and a turret. While the raider was busy shooting at some ghouls further in, I hacked his turret and shut it down and then we made short work of him. We discovered the tunnels had plentiful green Glowing Fungus, when paired with the Blue Hubflowers that grow in this area it makes a very good healing powder. Just need to use the fungus and flowers quickly because they rot after a few days.

We were on our way back home when we passed by a hardware store, we heard someone shouting for help out front and we went to investigate until we heard a couple of guys talking about their latest "mark". Some nutjob roaming the region apparently, but anyways, if I didn't hear these guys first I probably would have walked right into their trap. Seems they got a girl to call out for help, then when the hero rushes in, they kill him. Theres a pile of dead bodies in the basement. Well we aren't going down so easily and instead, we ambushed them.

At the front of the store we found one of their victims, they must have pinned her there so when someone tries to free her, gun them down. We freed her, I let her know we were heading to our home base and offered her to join us.

It was already dark by the time we got home, Claire the girl we rescued earlier approached me and told me Raiders were here earlier and demanded we give them everything we had. I will not stand for this, I prepared a few surprises for these assholes and sure enough, they walked right into my own ambush. I intend to make this a damned fortress to keep these people safe.

Day 6 10-28

 

Leah was impressed with how well we dealt with the raider attack and I offered her to join, she readily accepted. The other girl, Zoey, asked to join us in our adventures, I'm always happy to have another gun at my side.

We decided to cross the river today and headed North alongside it. I got separated from Alexandra and Zoey and ran straight into a trio of wild dogs. I managed to kill one before the others knocked me down and pinned me. My friends found me a few minutes later with a wild dog fucking me like a bitch, dammit that was humiliating.

After that nightmare was over we continued North past a drowned town and a Mutant camp. We were traveling along a road when someone called out to us, there was a non-feral Ghoul woman in a lab coat waving to us. We approached and spoke with her, her name is Bethany and thank God she's a doctor... or... at least claims to be one. Told her I soaked up some Rads and she laughed, cupping one of my fleshy tits and told me she could tell. She explained that some Synths suffer from this condition and thats why she called out to us. A couple hundred caps later I am back to my slim sexy self.

By this time I was absolutely dehydrated and we made a trip to the river to get a drink. I did a little bit of hunting while I was there.

We noticed a fortified camp of Raiders near where we met Bethany, we decided to help her out and cleared the camp out. Some place called the Federal Stockpile, will have to come back and check it out if we ever get low on food.

It started to get dark after we left the Stockpile, a bit North West of it was a small camp. Called the Sunshine Tidings Co-op. We cleared the small cabins of Ghouls and Roaches and ran into a absolutely nutty looking Mr. Handy. Apparently someone tweaked his system and now he's as high as a junky, all he says is Far Out and Grooovy, and goes by Professor Goodfeels. The Surface never ceases to amaze me. Anyways, we decided to settle down for the night and leave in the morning.

Day 7 10-30

 

We left the camp early the next morning. We will need to come back here someday, this location would make a great farm. Just need to fortify the buildings.

We headed South back towards home, we passed by a strange sight, a cluster of cars stacked up like toys. I really really do not want to encounter anything that could do THAT. It must be huge.

We found the railroad tracks that go right by our home, so we followed those South to get home. We passed by another railway lookout tower, this one had a small farm around it. The locales asked us for help, a group of Ghouls have been spotted in a local just East of them and they needed to be destroyed. We agreed that we'd check it out, but first we needed to get home and drop off our supplies.

We got to the next railway tower and decided to make a slight detour, I recalled seeing a store I wanted to check out. Tomorrow is Halloween, a day people dress up and... well... I don't really know. Beat people to death with baseball bats? We found the store called Freddy fears house of scares. I went in and found a couple of costumes. We headed home for the night to sleep.

Day 8 10-31

 

Happy Halloween everyone! So I gave Alexandra and Zoey their costumes, they just laughed and wore them. As for me... I think mines pretty nice.

We headed into the Northern most part of the city, back in the day it was a community college. Our destination is College Square just near it. As we were heading there we heard someone shouting for help, turns out it was 2 people who looked identical, each one accusing the other of being a Synth. I've heard about the Institute doing this, replacing someone on the surface with a Synth copy. I wonder... if I was meant to be a copy of someone. I tried to be a mediator and got one to lower his gun, the other drew his own gun and attacked. Turns out he was the Synth and the original had overpowered him. I hope to never have to do this again.

We arrived in College square and that settler wasn't kidding, these Ghouls were everywhere! A group of Raiders were holed up in the city and the Ghouls wiped them out, apparently they went deeper into the Subways and still didn't make it. I honestly don't feel bad for them at all. Got pretty banged up tho, was limping by the time we got done. We went back to the Settlers and let them know we finished the job, they gave us caps and thanked us, they let us know if we needed to we can bring other Settlers to them and they'd help build.

We passed by a building on the way to let the settlers at the station know the jobs done, was a placed called Beantown Brewery. We decided to check it out once we said goodbye to the settlers. Turns out it was a Raiders den, group of drunken idiots who got into a fight with the Raiders at the Federal Stockpile. Will need to go clear that place out too now. Turns out a liquid diet isn't the best thing. Found a terminal from the leader, guess they attacked the Stockpile and had to retreat, but not before kidnapping someone. According to the diary entry, it was the little sister of the leader of the Federal Stockpile gang. She must have gotten loose and was killed. I feel bad for the other Sister but Raiders are Raiders, even surprised family means anything to these lunatics.

We decided to head back home once again, new supplies and a bunch of booze in tow. We got back home near sundown. Claire and Leah greeted us warmly, thanking us for everything we've done for them. Makes me happy to hear that.

Day 9 11-1

 

We made some progress on building up our base. Was in the middle of building a new structure when we ran out of materials. Guess its time to kill more Raiders, they usually have the most junk.

 

There was some apartment buildings near Hardware town, obviously a Raider den with all the bodies strung up outside. We stepped inside and told Zoey and Alexandra to be careful, we're in close tight quarters and didn't want any accidents.

We slowly cleared our way to the top and in the final room found a pair of Raiders tormenting a captive. Turns out she's a former Atom follower, not sure how they survive all that radiation, this girls eyes glowed bright green! Nice thing is, she's ALOT friendlier than the previous Children of Atom freaks I've met. Her name is Brooke.

We exited onto the roof right in the middle of a firefight between the Raiders and a group of Super Mutants, was fairly one sided as the Mutants slaughtered the Raiders and then turned on us. We put up a fight but we got overwhelmed, Brooke and Alexandra went down and I feared they were dead, Zoey and I did the only thing we could think of and surrendered. The Mutants turned on me and stripped me naked and forced me to suck their dicks, thankfully they ignore Zoey. God I can still taste them even know while I write this. Luckily my friends weren't dead and saved my ass once again. I need to find some Toothpaste and a Toothbrush soon

Not much to say, spent the day building at home, turned in early and got a good nights rest.

We made our way back to the Federal Stockpile, entrance was still clear of Raiders so we slipped in. They had considerable defenses but nothing we couldn't handle. We cleared the tunnels with ease and eventually met up with the so called Red. She put up a fight but we killed her. On her terminal was a message, news travels fast between Raider gangs, my guess is everyone has scouts placed to watch their backs. Red had already heard about us killing the leader of the Beantown gang, Tower Tom.

We exited the tunnels and came out near Sunshine Tidings, glad we cleared this place now before we decided to bring people to stay there. Would have hated to bring someone there only to have Raiders murder them.

 

We headed East from Sunshine tidings and found a small gift shop near a pond, was some place for a famous guy I guess. We entered the ruined shop and saw another one of those fucking monkey traps, I swear whoever designed these things was deranged. A note on the front door pretty much clued us in as who is below. Take a guess, go on. Yes... More Raiders. Well not anymore, we cleared them out.

We left the pond and shop behind and found a road up ahead, we were going to follow when gunfire ahead alerted us to danger. We thought we were well hidden as we watched a group of Gunners fight off a pack of wild dogs. Guess not as one turned and without warning shot at us. We got separated in the fight and I was taken down by a whole squad of Gunner. Assholes, all of them. Fucked me pretty hard, one by one. One of them thought it was funny to shove a Nuka Quantum bottle up my ass. I managed to escape but one of the bastards kept all my gear. It took awhile but caught up with Zoey and Alexandra and we got revenge. It got dark pretty quick and in the cover of darkness we killed them all. I have zero sympathy.

We were about to turn in for the night when a pack of Ghouls swarmed us, must have heard all the gunfire. We managed to kill them and decided to turn in for the night.

We decided to use the Gunners own beds to sleep, found a pair of cots in a ruined bus. We took turns keeping watch. Zoey was on watch when I was awoken by someone getting into bed with me. Alexandra put a finger to my lips to keep my quiet and then proceeded to make love to me, we ended up climaxing while scissoring. Wow... it was... beyond words. I wonder if Zoey knew?

Day 12 11-4

 

At dawn we set out once again, this time following the road North, we encountered a old caravan lady, goes by the name Trashcan Carla. We spoke and she gave us directions to Diamond City, its actually pretty close to our home.

We continued to the North past a town called Concord and past it, Zoey noticed a house built into a giant power line tower, so we decided to investigate.

We met a farmer by the name of Blake Abernathy, he told us about a group of Raiders who murdered his daughter, he asked us to get her locket back. In my mind he's asking us to get revenge for her. Either way, we decided to help out. Seems theres an old USAF Comms tower nearby, somewhere off to the East.

We headed to the East and came across a Gas station, I heard a dog barking ahead. So we decided to investigate.
