Cuff an actor other than SexMate?

I'm working on a pose that includes handcuffs (my first) and discovered they can only be enabled/manipulated from "SexMate"s settings... even when positioned onto another actor (if I check the "Handcuffs" box on any other actor, the cuffs do not appear.)

 

This is incredibly annoying because every time "SexMate" moves, so do the cuffs. And I'm trying to create a pose where Actor1 is the one who is cuffed.

 

Is there any way to link cuffs to an actor other than "SexMate" or lock them in place so they don't move along with "SexMate"?

 

(I think I remember a "gloves" or "guns" addon that were actually a set of cuffs. Does anyone have such an Addon?)
