Pure Ida

View File

Overview
This is a personal edit I planned to use as a character skin base. It's a port of Regenbot's The Pure, Blended with Fuse00's Ida and given New Normals, Specular and SSS Maps.

This is designed out the gate to support Fusion Girl only. No I won't make a CBBE version, I don't have the files.

What's in the Box:
There's 2 versions of the skin texture available in Either 8K or 4K
Light-Medium: This version works best for Lighter to medium skintones
Medium-Dark: This skin is desaturated a tad bit and the contrast has been lowered to be friendly for Medium to Deep Dark tones

Notes:
Pure Ida matches best with Fuse's Valkyr Face Textures or anything based on it.

The effect of Medium-Dark is highly dependent on your lighting, ENB settings and your character's base skin colouring. The more saturated your character is, the more the details will look off. It's best to go a little less saturated than you normally want. I don't really have my SSS settings on hand, but SSS also plays some role and I recommend tweaking it.

Atomic Fusion will work with this just fine. Attempting to use on CBBE will give you barbie below the waist cause I don't support coochie decals.

Weird that no one has commented yet, but I'll be the first. The screenshots look really great! I tried to use this mod, and ran into problems. I'm using Nexus MM (yes, I know it's likely causing my problems) and when I try to install this it gives me an error and doesn't install it. I removed the FOMOD folder from the archive, as well as the 8K textures and all the options I didn't want, basically just making a Data folder with the textures I wanted to install without a FOMOD installer. It installed properly then, except when I load the game, the textures are unchanged, still the default FG ones. The confusing thing is that in Bodyslide, looking at the body, it's showing the new textures, the ones from this mod. So I'm not sure what the issue is.

Same, won't install through Vortex for me with fomod.

Its pretty easy tbf. Vortex shows you an error notification telling you what went wrong.
By the looks of it, something went wrong in the ModuleConfig.XML inside FOMOD folder. If you read the error an attribute called 'operator' has an invalid value in line 136 and repeats itself in other lines aswell.
Unrar the rar file you downloaded and open ModuleConfig.XML in a notepad and take a look yourself.
Now a thing you should think when trying to figure out a problem even if you're not a modder yourself, is that those mod installers are writen pretty much the same.
So all i did is compare the ModuleConfig.XML with the one of Fusion Girl's FOMOD.
I found out that the attribute 'operator' was completely abscent in the same spots.
So the obvious thing to try is to erase this 'operator' attribute on those same lines mentioned at the error notification in Vortex.
Save, re-rar and retry installation.

Mod installed with no errors and the skin was working perfectly ingame.

Cool thanks. I stopped playing F4 but next time I go back I might try this.

This worked for me, thank you!

For clarity to any lay person reading this in the future, the lines in the XML file starting at line 136 read <dependencies operator="">

You need to delete the orange part for every line it says this.
