Randomly can't equip pauldrons.

I have this weird issuewhere, after some time of gameplay, i cant equip pauldrons anymore. What do you think is causing this issue? Please help me figure it out.

First, nothing should ever be below LoverAnimObjectsPriority.esp

Especially not PK extender.  It is a wonder that more things are not breaking.

 

Second, we need more info on "when" this stops working.  Does it stop when you have a particular armor/clothing installed?  After a particular action?  During a particular action?  And so on.  Each piece of armor/clothing occupies certain spots.  If an armor or clothing is already occupying the spot that the pauldron would take, then it is possible for it to block the pauldron.  It either does that or it will unequip the other item to equip the pauldron.  Also, are the pauldron's added by another mod or are they vanilla?  It could be that there is a conflict with the pauldron and some other items.  The more specific information you give the better we can help.

 

I also notice you have a bunch of mods installed but not enabled.  Like the UOP fixes.  Why do you have them if you are not going to enable them?

This mod could also cause problems if you enabled it at any time and then later disabled it: Arena No Rainment Mod.esp=0

If a mod is enabled, it can remain in the saved game and cause issues.

First, i used LOOT to handle my load order, i dont know why it has this shit order i'll go with what you said and reorder it.

Second, i found the problem its the HGEC growing pubic hairs mod, its taking up the slot thats used by some armor mods for pauldrons, this preventing me from using the pauldrons,

I got rig of the growing pubes mod and installed a semi decent texture i can deal with.

p.s. i disabled the No Arena raiment mod just 20 mins back cuz i realzied that all blue team is naked when i bet... maybe a bug with the mod? i dont know... i delete it now tho

and the UOP fixes hehe.. i put that addon in not realizing i didnt have the main mod installed :3 me stoopid

 

Once again thanks for your help @gregathit, it was what you said about something occupying the armor slot that gave me the idea to check the pubes mod

NEVER use LOOT with Oblivion. A LOOT load order can crash your game.

Use BOSS or sort manually.
