Title says it all. A frostfall kind of type mod for Tropical Skyrim.

Jungle:

Dehyrdation

you need to drink every few minutes, you  can have a canister(I dont remember the english word and Im to lazy to google it) like in Fallout New vegas where you take a sip from everytime your tearsty automatically(You can make this item yourself)

fatique

jungles wear you down faster, so stamina drops faster(Mana to?). Also the longer you stay the more tired you get. This will ofcourse fade away over time since you will get used to it.

Racial effects included:

Argonian: Used to it
Kajit: Used to it
Wood elf: resistaned
Orc: Slightly resistaned(Or Not resistaned?)
Redguard: Slight resistaned
Imperial: Not resistaned
Breton: Not resistaned
High elf: Not resistaned
Dark elf: Not resistaned
Nord: Not resistaned

Madness

some people go mad in a jungle the constant green, the low lights, creepy sounds, bugs errywhere! mosquitos etc. You will get a blurred vision if you stay to long in the jungle, the longer you visit the jungle the longer you become resistanted to it and get used to it.

Once again Racial effects would be:

Argonian: Used to it

Kajit: Used to it

Wood elf: resistaned

Orc: Slightly resistaned(Or Not resistaned?

Redguard: Slight resistaned

Imperial: Not resistaned

Breton: Not resistaned

High elf: Not resistaned

Dark elf: Not resistaned

Nord: Not resistaned

Diseases

It is possible to get diseases like Malaria(through mosquitos), After a fight it might be necassary to heal up quickly or use bandages for the chance of infections are greater.

Water:

You might want to avoid swimming in some waters since they are loaded with parasites. Wearing stuff like waterproof undies, parasite repelent cream(I dunno lol) or using parasite repelent magic spells, potions or having a natural resistance towards it. The natural resistances depends on race once again and time spent in it.

When low on health theres also the possibility that you will attract predators(crocodills, piranhas) since you will be bleeding.(This might I dunno if its possible but the predators would be spawned in the area where you swim)

Once again Racial effects would be:
Argonian: Used to it
Kajit: Used to it
Wood elf: Not resistaned
Orc: Not resistaned
Redguard: Not resistaned
Imperial: Not resistaned
Breton: Not resistaned
High elf: Not resistaned
Dark elf: Not resistaned
Nord: Not resistaned

Armor

Armor plays a big part just like Frostfall but slightly different.

Amor which reveal bigger parts of your armor are: More cool (lesser chance of dehydration and no stamina debuffs), but greater chance of getting infections and malaria.

Armor which are standard: Cool(slight stamina debuff) but a minimum to average chance of getting infections and malaria.

Armor which cover the whole body: Not cool(stamina debuff, needs more water) no chance of infections and malaria.

Sleeping

if you plan to sleep in the jungle then you would have to make special jungle tents.

Tent which is thin but water resistanded keeps moquitoes and other pesky bugs out. Not suitable for desert not warm enough for desert nights and to thin to keep the sun out. Also not sandstorm resistaned.

Desert:

In deserts there are ofcourse other "rules" but some are the same.

Dehyrdation
you need to drink every few minutes, you  can have a canister(I dont remember the english word and Im to lazy to google it) like in Fallout New vegas where you take a sip from everytime your tearsty automatically(You can make this item yourself) Dehyrdration is quicker in deserts.

Fatique
Deserts wear you down faster, so stamina drops faster(Mana to?). Also the longer you stay the more tired you get. This will ofcourse fade away over time since you will get used to it. Also the desert will slow you down when you havent drank enough.(running and sprinting is slower) You will get resistaned to it after awhile, of course racial effects apply to.
Racial effects included:
Argonian: resistaned / Used to it
Kajit: Resistaned / Used to it?
Wood elf: Not resistaned
Orc: Not resistaned
Redguard: Used to it
Imperial: Not resistaned
Breton: Not resistaned
High elf: Not resistaned
Dark elf: Slightly resistaned?/ Not resistaned
Nord: Not resistaned

Madness
some people go mad in a desert the constant yellow sands, the unbearable heat, Nothing but sand. You will get a blurred vision if you stay to long in the desert and you might get halisunations(if possible), the longer you visit the jungle the longer you become resistanted to it and get used to it.
Once again Racial effects would be:
Argonian: resistaned / Used to it
Kajit: Resistaned / Used to it?
Wood elf: Not resistaned
Orc: Not resistaned
Redguard: Used to it
Imperial: Not resistaned
Breton: Not resistaned
High elf: Not resistaned
Dark elf: Slightly resistaned?/ Not resistaned
Nord: Not resistaned

Sleeping
if you plan to sleep in the Desert then you would have to make special Desert tents.
Desert tent for the day: Thin but keeps the sun out, resistaned against sand storms. Not suitable for jungles and wont keep rain out.

Desert tent for the Night: Thick for the cold desert nights, resistaned agaisnt sand storms. Not suitable for jungles and wont keep rain out.

Also cures for Malaria/Infections can be bought or made with alchemy.

I will also be posting this thread on the nexus and I will try to contact the makers of Frostfall if they might make it.

Suggestions to add other things are always welcome.

i do like the that idea of jungle and desert survival  i hope they will add that for tropical skyrim

how about lowering the movement speed in desert and water brings back your default MS

and also i dont know if this is possible when swimming in water without having your hp fully recovered might also atract some predators lke piranha and other river monsters

Sounds nice I will add it, but what is MS? Also I think that the river animals idea might be possible by having them spawn in the water then.

I suggested a TS version of Frostfall to the original author and he was against the idea. I am pretty sure someone could make a new survival mod for TS though.

Considering the length of development and technical difficulty, Ches didn't want to reinvent the wheel... But anyway, there will be a lot of people begging him to make a TS version of Frostfall.

Yup seems you guys are right.

His reply:

Have you read my FAQ page?

This is very well thought out, I encourage you to try to make it yourself.

Thanks,

- Chesko

sad thing is I dont know how to  make it and I dont have any time to make it +  I dont want a headache of learning another programming languages or any creation software since I dont want to mix up with my study which is already giving me not much time to sleep and headaches....fuck you C#, C++ and PHP .

If I had the time I would be willing to learn but not now....

Pretty sure Chesko was/is making a 'HEAT' version of Frostfall anyways, which covers getting too hot and so forth. But that's far off at the moment.

Sun's Height is only going to be for mods that add new areas, like Moonpath to Elsewyr, it's not for the whole of Skyrim. He comment when I asked about it was that it was a real bitch to get Frostfall to play nice with the Tamriel worldspace... so conversting it to a heat version would be a butt-load of work.
