Something Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Now i've attempted to use google to fix this, but this is apparently unusual I've already optimized DesMuMe for maximum FPS, and under most circumstances it runs a smooth 55-60. However, very recently for no reason it's dropped to 20-25, making my games pretty much unplayable. Here's a screenie of me in Pokemon White with FPS counter on One thing I noticed is that the second number (30) is...well, 30. IIRC it counts the maximum fps in a game. Meaning that, at maximum, my game will be running at half fps. I don't recall changing any settings or anything that may affect this so I figure it's some button I accidentally pushed or something. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can assist. So...help?
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Buy an actual DS and get a flash cart.
LordJerle Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Quit playing Pokemon games. Problem solved.
Something Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 Okay, this thread can die now, issue resolved. Apparently battery settings somehow got changed from "entertainment mode" to "quiet office." Somehow DesMuMe now runs slightly faster than it did before.
