CTD at Frostbite Spiders

Hey all, I've been modding Skyrim and Skyrim SE for a while but I have never run into this specific issue before. Every time I encounter Frostbite Spiders anywhere in the world my game immediately Crashes to Desktop. I've run LOOT and SSEEdit and o problems were found. FNIS is also not encountering any problems.  Here's my load order

these 3 mods replace the spider's skeleton, i will assume asos is the problem since it's the last to load.

i would assume they removed, replaced or patched asos.

Ok I have a new problem my creature animations are not working for any of the creature mods. Does anyone know why my character stands next to the creature during animation? Sounds are there but there is no creature animation.

Rerun FNIS and make sure you got its 'Creature Pack' too.

in your case that patch is not needed, but the rest of the FNIS log seems fine.

7. did you forget to install the FNIS Creature Pack? install it and rerun the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, then do steps 5 & 8
NOTE: if you do have the Creature Pack but some creatures are just playing idle animations during sex try clicking on "De-Install Creatures" in FNIS, after it's done running click on "Update FNIS Behavior"
(doing this will delete all the creature behavior files generated by FNIS and remake new ones...that is assuming you DO have the FNIS Creature Pack installed)

ok animations are now working just fine but when I go into a dungeon and get to just one lower level it crashes. here is my report from Fnis again.

ok now i am having two problems. Game crashing in dungeons and no male female animations for creatures. I am a male character and when i interact with a female creature it only will play her animations as if she is a male.

I just had this problem today, I deleted Animal SOS but it still crashes in the same part of the cave where you face off with the first frostbite spider.

is the last thing in my log, I'm not exactly  sure what the issue is, is it creature framework or ABC? What actually fixes this, cause I've run FNIS over and over with things in different orders - and FNIS seems to really like breaking itself at random giving me an error(76) forcing me to reinstall it completely to run it again.

 

Sorry for all the dumb questions I'm really not that smart but I'd like to learn.

 

Edit: It may be a fluke, but re-arranging my install order of these files like so and re-running FNIS seems  to be working; though I'm sure this is just a lucky guess.

It wasn't really clear how anyone actually fixed the issue and after a year a lot of scripts and stuff can change around - hopefully this will help people in the future.

I had the same issue, with ASOS causing a crash whenever I found a frostbite spider. I fixed it by opening the Creature Framework MCM and disabling ASOS for frostbite spiders, large frostbite spiders, and giant frostbite spiders, and their snowy variants.
