Pwishy Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 To all those animators out there, I have a question; How do you import two skeletons without them 'sticking together' in 3ds max? Like, their skeletons share the same (for the lack of a better description) 'root'. This makes it impossible to move them apart. Or maybe I am asking the wrong question, is it even possible to create an animation with two actors (with 3ds max)? After hours of searching I found no answer. If I want to create an animation between two actors, is 3ds max even the right tool? Sorry for my ignorance, I'm completely new to animation let alone 3ds max.
TDA Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I am using OpenCollada plugin (1 actor with import/export skeleton and *ColladaActor* to match pose in a pair) ps. for right export *ColladaActor* in colldaFormat , you need to remove the modifier [bSDismemberSkinmodifier] from the *ColladaActor* body.
