City building mods?

I stumbled upon this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/94414

 

The idea of having your own city where you hire citizens, build buildings etc. sounds very promising, but i remember trying a couple of similiar mods a few years ago like https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72610?tab=description and they all were too buggy.

Is there a good mod like those which works properly?

 

Or should i rather install and setup Fallout 4 again since it already has the built in settlement management? But when i last tried Fallout 4 about 1,5 years ago it felt so inferior compared to Skyrim, so i'd rather have Skyrim mods for city building too. Thanks in advance

Blackthorn is without a doubt the single best I have tried.  It takes a really long time to fully build it out with all possible buildings due to cost in gold a materials but once you get a basic infrastructure rolling it picks up steam and can become somewhat self sufficient.

I really didn't care for Noble House, but i did like this from same author.

It's worth mentioning that Blackthorn conflicts with SexLab Stories as they both edit the same area. And some of its landscape edit are just horrible.

You can build Mine, hire workers, guards... but there is no option to select where you want to start etc.

only one mine you can use is close to soliture on swamps... its more like matter of time / gold than strategy building mod...

 

yes... matter of gold because if you have it enough you can build everything in just one day...

 

 

 

Pocket Empire Builder:

... not very perfect Mod but you can buy ppl to your city and every ppl will bring you money...

you also can build walls and hire guards because your city can be attacked by monsters...

 

every day some money spawn inside your pocket :x...

Good is that you can build everywhere... :x... and you can have more than 1 city

Very similar to Pocket Empire but if i remember correct you can build only one city close to riften

however it have more options of mannaging your city than Pocket Empire

i don't remember much about this mod but i remember that it wasn't really good mod... :x...

You can try ^_^... but i think its gonna be waste of time

if i remember this Mod have only one City Spot but its have more options than Pocket Empire and Tundra :o !...

 

 

 

 

Even if You will find better mod i recomend You to install Pocket Empire Builder

This Mod can be used everywhere and you can use it to spawn guards and charge some income

 

Good connection is Windstand Mine and Pocket Empire

at lest i was using both of them together

 

 

 

 

But Best Best Best City Builder is Creation Kit :o !...

I delete PEB and WM only because i pref to build everyting my self in CK - infinite possibilites

 

With CK You can build whatever you want, you can use exteriors and interiors and more, you can use SCRIPTS :o !...

The thing about Pocket Empire Builder (and basically any other mod that allow you to spawn objects) though is that it's not navmeshed = npcs won't walk on these buildings nor will they go inside, and way too often it doesn't cut the navmesh, but just blocks the path = npcs will run into walls because they believe the path is still there. So great potential to break quests.
