BUT!...

I give you a little tutorial on how to download everything, relatively easy, using Chrome with a mass download extension (see spoiler below)

  Hide contents

1. Get the DownThemAll! browser extension from the Chrome Web Store
2. Open my LL files downloads section
3. Right-Click on the page, from the context menu select DownThemAll! > DownThemAll!
   
4. A window will pop-up, titled "DownThemAll! - Select your Downloads"
5. Type  confirm=1  into the Fast Filtering box.
6. You'll see that it automatically selects all the files you need.
7. Press Download to start the process.
   
   (By default, it downloads everything into your Windows' Downloads folder.)
8. The extension then starts to download all the files. Sit back and watch the happy little progress bars filling up...
   
9. Done, now you have all the files from the Downloads section. Easy-peasy!
   
10. Proceed with installing the core mod framework from !CinErotique_Installer_[v6.x].7z
    (See the "Installing the Mod" section)
11. When you've done with that, move the rest of the .7z files into the "Mods/CinErotique/Videos" folder, select them all, right-click, then choose "Extract here".
12. Check that the files were unpacked correctly (you should have a bunch of .package files)
13. You can delete the .7z files from the "Mods/CinErotique/Videos" folder.

 

Arguably this more helpful because this works anyone one LL

I can't seem to find the option to watch porn on the TV, or anything related to the mod itself...Am I supposed to download something in particular?

I'm 99% sure you unpacked the whole Disable individual channels.7z archive from the Extras folder without checking what it does.
Check your CinErotique mods folder. If you find any PECO_ADDITIONAL_MOD_disable_XXXXX_channel.package files (there will be probably 8 of those), delete them.

HI! I cant press the tv nor see any of the videos ive downloaded? Everything is unzipped and script mods are on. Why isnt it working?  All i can see are three teasers, but nothing else.

if the mod is installed properly, when you click into the "watch porn channel" tv menu, you should see 2 options.

1. watch preview channel (it plays teasers/ads)
2. unlock all channels ($100)

solution: click on the second one to unlock all porn channels.

 

in case the second option does not appear in the tv menu, that means you have started a "super reception" upgrade on the tv, but did not finish it.

solution: resume and finish the "super reception" upgrade.

Hello. I really like this mod and so far it has worked great. The only thing I cannot seem to get to work is the "Masturbate to TV Porn" function. I have the latest Wicked Whims installed and I tried re-installing cinerotique and it still is not working. I do have some WW animations for masturbating while watching tv, but the sim keeps turning the tv off before starting. Everything else is working fine. Thank you.

Okay, based on how you described your issue, I think I know what's your problem is.

I think you probably were trying to start a masturbation session for your sim the usual way, through the "Wicked" menu, but the "Masturbate to TV Porn" does not work like that, it's a SEPARATE DIRECT INTERACTION you can start by clicking ON THE SIM while she/he is watching porn on the TV, then choosing "Masturbate to TV Porn" from the interaction pie menu.

Hi. I'm having an issue with the download. It doesn't seem to be download as a zip file. It is already extracted as a single mod download titled "!CinErotique_Installer_[v6.0.3].7z" I attempted to open it using 7zip, but nothing happens. I attempted to download via Firefox after reading that chrome sometime has issues, but had the same result. Please help.

Hi @peco328 I have your old mod files.  I am looking to update from the installer package from October 2021. My question is, before, you used to have a ton of files.  Icon overrides and TV packages.  There's a TV always playing and one that isn't...Am I to assume this is all now an ALL-IN-ONE package that also includes those things or do I keep the TVs and the icon overrides.  I do use the latest Wicked Whims as well.  Please advise. Thank you!

On Windows from my experience you have to right click and then>open in 7z>then extract archive (I believe).  If I just click on the files it gives me an error.  I think 7z is so old it doesn't take into account the new way Windows maps links to programs.

Both the core mod and the individual video packages have been updated since last October, so I think at this point you should do a fresh install.
Delete everything CinErotique related from your mods folder, and download everything again.
(If you need it, here's a guide on how to mass download from LL.)

1. For the CE core mod installation, just unpack the CinErotique folder from !CinErotique_Installer_[v6.0.3].7z, and copy it - as it is - into your Mods folder (don't put it any deeper in the Mods folder).
2. Then get the individual TV video package files you want, and unpack/copy those into the Mods/CinErotique/Videos folder.

Yeah I got that, I was just wondering if we didn't need all the extra files anymore.  I guess the mod is simpler now.  Sorry, I have had your mod since you started so I got confused with all the older mod files.  So I am assuming you packed everything into one simple package file now?

Yes, all mod features/objects are packed into one single package file now. (+the script file)

But there are still a couple of small optional extra features in the mod's Extras folder (see details about those in the included txt file).

Depends on what you mean by "simpler"...

The installation is much simpler, but feature wise it's way ahead of the old versions. (you can read about the what's new in v6.x in this forum post)

Depends on what you mean by "simpler"...

The installation is much simpler, but feature wise it's way ahead of the old versions. (you can read about the what's new in v6.x in this forum post)

Hello, long time user of your mod from when it replaced the fireplace channel on my sims tv's, just want to know if your mod allows for other custom videos made by us the users of your mod, think of it as those personal porn channels on a small budget, most likely going to be newbie stuff like homemade porn and hidden cam stuff, even voyeur stuff, but can we create and add in our own videos, and if so how do we tag them for a channel, unless you have a plan for third party videos?

Sorry, but no, I do not have any plans for adding support for custom/third party videos; simply because I'd like to retain control over what is playing on my channels. Especially that there are certain video genres/topics I wouldn't feel comfortable to be associated with (IRL hidden/voyeur stuff actually being one of those).
There's also the matter of keeping up quality control - which I'm quite serious about - as at present I can guarantee to users that if they download my mod, it will work without issues, but video encoding is a finicky mistress, and if a third party video is not properly encoded and/or tested it can (and will) freeze/CTD the whole game... again, this presents a possible serious issue I don't want to associate my mod with.

Ok, good point, i was hoping to try my hand at some parody videos of Stranger Things, Men in Black, and the Resident Evil movies, didnt knew where to start at and i would have made failed videos, I am looking forward to your next videos, got a nightclub with a cinema in the basement playing your videos and decorated with your movie posters, setting the seats and platforms was not easy, but it worked out a little ok.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

Anyways, all the 1 byte "-------- XXXXXX --------" files (see examples marked on the image) in the download list are just empty text files.
Their only purpose is just to visually separate the content in the download section, so people can more quickly/easily locate certain sections/channel content.
 

These "-------- XXXXXX --------" files don't need to be downloaded, they have nothing to do with the functionality of the mod.
If you already downloaded them, you can delete them from your drive.

 

If I misunderstood your problem, and your question is about something entirely different, then please rephrase the issue in greater detail.

JUICEBOX is just an "aggregator" channel. It does not have its own separate content, it just collects and combines all lesbian videos from the other channels into one place.
In the download section, lesbian videos are marked with "_LEZ" in their filenames. (for example: CE_mov_pirates_LEZ.7z ).

So basically, if you already downloaded all files for the other channels, then you already have all the videos that play on the JUICEBOX channel.
