Dogmeat animations not working

So I constantly get this error message after I attempt to engage with dogmeat
aaf error: [034] failed to start 'fm' scene because there are no 'female human + male dogmeat' animations using tags: none (and excluding tags: kissing,hugging,spanking,dancing,cuddle,handjob,footjob,jackoff). install animation pack with this type of animation.

I have downloaded several animation packs to try and fix this, and every time I get the same result. Is there some mod I am missing or is it something wrong with the mods themselves?

I can provide any other information about this problem if need be.

Leito, SavageCabbage & Vader have Dogmeat animations. They are the most problematic to get to work. They will stutter, and even stop working. You'd think that someone you spend 60% of the game with would have alot of excellent animations, but it isn't so.

 

If I can't get AAF to work, I'll give Flashy a try or go back to 4Play, where at least SOME of the animations worked.

Ok, it may be my mouse that's the culprit. If I don't move my mouse, Dogmeat completes the animation! But if I move my mouse the least bit, he jumps up & just stands there.......

I wasn't aware the two weren't compatible. I am relatively new to this site and it's mods. I had AAF for the prostitution and violate and 4play for the family planning mod.

You have so less files in your AAF folder, well it depends on how many other mods are installed. Here is a list of mine. From the names you can search for the requisite animation packs.

Is it because of the mod manager I use? I found it easier to install that way but I hardly see any of them as options
(I use Nexus Mod manager so I can easily enable and disable mods when I switch between my standard and sexual characters)

Well my issue wasn't that dogmeat would move during animations, it was that they wouldn't start them. The fix for me was removing fourplay and reloading my mod order. He does occasionally move during animations, not sure why but its rare for me
