Borderlands - The Pre Sequal Nude Mods?

One hour of me eating humble pie later, I've come up with enough to show what I'm going for. The size it displays at is close to the size of the portrait in game, which REALLY helps hide how bad I am.

Hah! Good work. I'd say your collar bones could use a little smoothing (along with her neck colors), and I don't think a lil' bit of cleavage would hurt. . .

I'm liking where this is heading. I have run into a small issue though regarding Echo portraits. . . I think an image would explain faster than I can do so with words. For some reason, my "updated" Springs is cropped out by her original outline. I think that this implied that echo portraits consist of two textures, but I can't seem to find another one. I'll have to do more testing, but I hope it's not a lost cause.

Yeah, boobies can be pretty tricky. I should learn how to digital art. I got the equipment, but I'm inexperienced when it comes to "arting" with software (lol). I need an image of Felicity that is uncompressed. When images are uploaded here, they are converted into a "lossy" format, which is a big problem. I maintain my images as .bmps, so you'll have to send me your work via a different platform (like Google Drive).

Ok, not sure if its good enough, and making one at a better resolution would be a pain. (Btw, unless someone gets it straight from the game or something, the original Felicity pic I posted last time is the highest resolution (only one actually) I could find.)

I would message... "fedess" I think it was, over on the BL2 mod I linked earlier. He isn't the original poster, you find him on like page 3. He's the one who added the echo stuff to BL2, so he may be willing to explain how they work. Even short of that, you could probably take apart his mod to see how it works, which would yield a similar effect. My best guess is that the echos can't show images that large, you may try shrinking the image.

Edit: Ignore that last sentence, I didn't read the post very well. Rest of it still stands though.

Nretsmah hasn't posted one yet, there weren't many textures replaced (it originally started as a texmod of Nisha I think). I would hazard a guess its close(ish) to a beta release, though I'm hardly knowledgeable on the matter. I just submit lengthy replies and altered 200x200 bmps of Felicity XD.

I took another look at Athena in-game, and I again recommend the bare midriff where the clothes are skin tight, but maybe add a "wet T-shirt" bra instead of "wet T-shirt" nipples, which I will admit, sounded like a better idea in my head. Looking at Athena just makes me want better mod tools for Borderlands in general. We can choose between a tasteful, yet perhaps unsatisfying edit; or the second coming of Sexy Gaige (with the cleavage that only has texture, not mesh). Maybe we stick a nude Janey decal on her back or something.

Getting a version from the game shouldn't be too bug of a hassle, but it looks like yours should be a good resolution. Echo portraits have a pretty small resolution. Also, I like where this is heading. Good work!

That might not be a bad idea, but I should do a little more testing. I can try saving all of the images on screen, and picking at them on my file explorer (rather than in-game). I'm not sure how to take apart texmod files, but I'm sure there's a tutorial on the internet somewhere.

Actually, while we are on the topic about internet, I have a very poor connection. It's slow and unreliable, and it makes replying on Loverslab (and surfing for BL artwork) way harder than it needs to be.

This looks incredible! A while back I had uploaded the Adult BL2 retex (I'm not the author) and this has long, long over due. So well done to you sir.

The big question... is there a download link?

Why thank you! This is kinda encouragement that gets me pumped up to finish my work (lol). Is that right? That's pretty sweet! I've always been paranoid about using Texmod online, although people say that it's "client" side and I needn't worry. I guess it doesn't matter with the kind of connection I have though haha. I agree though, this game shouldn't be left out of the modding loop. In surprised no adult mods already exist for this title. . . I mean, there isn't even a nude mod for this game!

There isn't a download link for any Borderlands mod I've been working on so far. I don't like releasing files that I wouldn't call "finished". However, I suppose I could wrap up a few (metaphical) loose ends in my mod, and prep it for a "release version".

There's just a minor issue though. I'm not willing to upload this mod until I have a complete "credits" section in my mod description that recognizes every artist whose work was used in the making of this mod. Luckily, I've gotten started on this. Unluckily, last night my internet "pooper out" and I couldn't finish the job.

So instead I got to the part with Felicity in-game (so I could try to grab her echo portrait tonight) and played me some Peach Beach Splash.

That is correct, Nretshah hasn't posted one yet (lol). I began with Nisha to show what was possible, and went off of that. I'm working on two mods actually, "Wet T-Shirts" and um, currently unnamed but being considered as "Borderwhores". Long winded replies are what I like to see in my feed, heh. Nude Felicities are a bonus hahaha.

Giving Athena a visible bra sounds like a good idea. Yeah, it would nice if you could overide meshes in addition to textures with Texmod (or UMod). I'll look into giving her visable nips, but we'll see. A nude decal sounds awesome hahaha.

If there are any improvements you would like to see to the Felicity pic let me know. I have little talent, but I certainly have free time... like free time to the point I do my Algebra II homework instead of Borderlands because I burnt myself out on the game again...

Also, if you're looking for a unique name for the... "poster" half of the mod, you could go with "Posterlands". I say this because I think I saw the phrase Borderwhores while searching for sample images. Or maybe even something like "Scooter's Choice" or "Scooter's Backup Plan"

If you chose homework over Borderlands. . .

Oof, I just don't know what to say to that. Pandora is the life for me, not school (LOL). I actually just hit the crashed Dahl ship in-game, so pulling up Felecity's Echo portrait shouldn't be too of a problem.

The thing is though, my mod covers posters, signs, screens and whatnot. I actually had an idea in regards to "Borderwhores". I didn't like the name to start with, since I didn't think its name would fit what this mod does.

However, If I were yo extend the scope of this mod to NPCs and PCs (by combining my wet T-shirt textures), I could totally justify that name. For people wanting to use other mods (in theory), they could choose to install a version of "borderwhores" with or without support for npcs/pcs or signs and whatnot.

I think the name was being used by a comic of sorts. I haven't released yet though, so I can still ponder.

Believe me, I know what you mean. I think you underestimate the sheer amount of Borderlands I play. I've bought Borderlands for two platforms, and Borderlands 2 for three, so I would wager I'm closing in on 700 hours for BL2 and PS combined (original Borderlands can have trouble capturing me, but I'm able to play it when I'm burnt out on the other two, so there's that). I'm the kind of person who makes 10 new characters before finishing the first (in fact, my ONLY level 72 character was achieved a few months ago, as I just like going through normal mode so much) so I'm the source of my own problem.

I realize there's probably a lot on your plate at this point, but I had an interesting idea. Put a pornish Moxxi decal on the Vibra-Pulse (that one you showed the other day as a poster alongside Nisha would work great). This is a much more impactful idea for Borderlands 2 as it has like 6 Moxxi weapons, but I'm also not sure how well this would work. The Community Patch for BL2 was able to change the textures of some guns (mostly Pearls) with ONLY the text. I don't know if that means it collected existing textures in the game and... idk rearranged them?... or what...

Look, what I mean is, I have no idea if this will be as "simple" as something like the posters (and may be downright strange, like the Echo portraits).

For me, Borderlands never gets old. I've clocked in well over 700 (likely 800) hours of Borderlands goodness on PC alone. I played quite a bit of Borderlands One on Xbox back then, with a side of part Two. I don't like making new characters until I hit max level on what I have haha. Compared to other people with my play time, I have very few characters.

In addition to max leveled characters, I'll spend as many hours as it takes to get the perfect variant of the year I want. I spenpt days resetting UVHm on BL 2 for the perfect Slag Rapiet. Also, I play challenge playthoughs, to mix things up. They take way longer than standard play through, and are quite a lot of fun.

My latest is Krieg with NO shields, NO Class Mods, ONLY Dahl weapons, and no "final skills". In other words, no maxing skill trees. It's been alot of fun, and I'm eager to take him to OP8.

Wilhelm is my only character for TPS, and I'm still trying to max him out. It seems to take a lot longer in this game than BL2.

Now let's talk about nodding. That's a cool idea, a I don't think I would have thought about it. Illd definitely give it a try. I think that I have a Vibra Pulse in my inventor, but if not I can get another. I'm not sure how gun textures work, as I think it varies. I know Dahl guns have a repeating pattern. That's as far as my knowledge goes hah.

The Vibra Pulse is quite powerful. I received it at level 25 I believe, and I beat the game at NVHM with it as my primary weapon. 7 levels behind the final boss and it still made the cut!

I'd repeat that experience in TVHM,  and perhaps in UVHM as well haha.

Yes, I'm working on a Texmod file that will make your game look like the screenshots I've uploaded.

I have a few more image credits I'd like to write down, and a bit more work to do on my mod description. I'd like to write a short tutorial on how to use Texmod for new users.

I'll probably be releasing a "beta" version soon, as I don't consider this mod to be complete yet.

*Cue drum roll*

I went with "Pornolands: The Pre Sequel"? You see, Google defines "pornography" as "printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity", and this mod adds a whole lot of pornography on Elpis (and Helios).

I don't Scooter would make a lot of sense since he doesn't appear in the Pre Sequel (at least, not that I know of).

YES, THAT NAME. Love it. The reason I suggested Scooter is when he sends you on a mission to find his "girlfriend", the bonus objective is to collect nudie mags.

I hated just visiting the Torgue vendor for any kind of DPUH for my Lvl 72 Sal. I finally settled on one with a Hyperion grip after half an hour. What can really happen is I spend the ~6 hours or so to get to lvl 30 and by then I want a different character,  but for some reason I just feel its better to start a new one instead of pick up my old one. I've gotten over that recently, maybe its because PC really is the master race. Another part of my mistake is that my characters were almost always Money Shot Salvador, Anarchy Gaige, or Melee Krieg. Money Shot Sal in normal mode is all about finding your next Jakobs Quad (at least it became that for me on Xbox), Anarchy Gaige in normal mode is all about finding your next Jakobs Coach gun (at least it became that for me on Xbox, which is unfortunate because low-stack Gaige is a really exciting sniper, especially with the Pimpernel), and Melee Krieg waits till his Keystone to TRULY become a thing (yes you just posted how you intentionally avoid it for you challenge run, but the keyword is challenge) which means I'm tired of playing a character I was gimping without realizing it (I didn't like the look of the other trees because I enjoy(ed) simpler things). After writing this post, I think a lot of it comes from how... tedious I found aiming to be. I was really bad at hitting crits (with ease) on the Xbox, now that I've been on PC (in general, not just for Borderlands) for over a year, I finally feel like going for crits consistently. I'm not sure I want to play Zero, and choke my Deception Sniper shot, but playing Maya is fun (especially since they buffed Cloud Kill).

I'm just now trying him out, mostly because my Athena grinds a lot of lasers I don't want to use on her, but are blue/purple and 10 levels below me... I have no physical use for them except for handing them down to other characters.

Did you ever solve the Echo portrait problem? I'm tempted to dip back into BL2 to see what the nudefyied ones look like so I can screen shot them, see if they use the normal Echo background or if its altered so its in front of another texture or something.

(Quote-ception here) Alright, I went and did it anyway (for Lillith at least, I've seen the ones for Tannis and Moxxi (Moxxi I've seen in the Tourge DLC, so it works in those as well), and I THINK it also features Captain Scarlet (mod poster says he did the "first DLC" and I don't think any of those 3 gals show up in there). As you can see here:

The Lilith portrait is on top of the Echo background, and does all the things an Echo Portrait does: subtle shrinking(see last 2), visual noise (compare image 1 with image 3), and fading (2 and 3). Thusly... I don't know, I just hope it helps clarify. Oh, and do take care with the graffiti, or you get this, and I don't believe there is an option to turn it off:

Of course the rest of the mod is great, I especially love the idea of the quest turn in/available marks, but agree with the author it could have been executed better.

I say this fully realizing that Nretsmah's process/goal is a bit different. The vending machines (in the BL2 adult mod) feature characters not from Borderlands (even though I love the one on the ammo machine, no pic of that unfortunately), and the annoying graffiti has elf ears. Weird things to complain about, seeing as how I'm advocating for translucent Athena armor, but I think my point gets across. I mean no disrespect to the author (authors, I suppose. Its plural) of the BL2 adult mod btw, just clarifying a difference in taste.

Ok, last post for a bit, I kinda feel like I'm starting to spam. Here's a pic of the ammo machine (and the weapons machine, which has a fantastic pic as well):

Spoiler

20180927215953_1.jpg.5dbe28fcbde69c996467a541ed9f36a0.jpg

Both pics don't feel entirely out of place in Borderlands (except for ammo vendor's logo on chest), but from the sound of it, Nretsmah is having difficulty finding pics that are up to his standards.

Before I get off for a while (to stop spamming and because I'm not certain I'll have internet tomorrow) I had a(nother) idea.

When you're in the skill tree selection screen (at least in BL2, I would assume in the Pre Sequel as well) you can see the red tree has fire decals in the background, the blue tree has spark decals in the background, and the green tree has acid mist lines. I'm certain we could add porn decals to those (and by we, I mean Nretsmah.... and by Nretsmah, I mean the Nretsmah who doesn't have too much on his plate already because someone on the forum can't stop posting). This would be a great opportunity to use pics that weren't entirely suitable elsewhere... assuming there were spares at all... Pre Sequel porn is pretty scarce all things considered.

So, uh yeah... Porn is good... Go to drugs, drink your school, and don't do milk.

May I get some out of topic here?

After I really loved Borderlands 1, I´ve bought Borderlands 2 some time ago.

But as I noticed, that the extreme and cartoon style "overkill-death-scenes" have been cut out, I have lost my interest at the very moment.

Is there any way, to mod the brutality scenes back in?

The way BL2 and Pre Sequel are, not really. Unless those scenes are in the game and are simply disabled, we can't put them in there. Borderlands 1 has better support for mods of that sort (I think). Unfortunately, Borderlands isn't like Fallout/Skyrim, with the developers practically handing over the dev-kit to the general populace.

That´s bad.

So sadly, BL2 will end up as an unplayed and unloved game in my steam list.

The echos were not that much of a problem in BL2. I only had to space them out a bit (see spoiler) with trial and error but you probably already figured that out. btw turns out I apparently had a different echo for Lilith that I forgot to implement lol.

Spoiler

echo.png.a4051489dd191b67207289aad70718c5.png

I have the photoshop files up for download, including the original pics used (in folder: pics\used\). Feel free to take whatever, I merely stole it all from actual artists.

Some problems I remember (of course in BL2):

It saves LOTS of headaches if you use .dds instead of .png. It might also fix your echo problem. Let's just say .png transparency works in mysterious ways (or in more accurate terms: .png is a BITCH).

Almost every texture is spammed throughout the game. Change one wall in Sanctuary = change 30 more walls in random places in the game that often look out of place. I tried to counter this by adding some surprises like claptrap's secret stash but it might be better to just say fuck it and really turn it into an adult version.

I don't think it's possible to create any kind of sexy quest marks that don't look out of place. Looks like I deleted the photoshop file but honestly I tried tens of different silhouettes in all kinds of ways and they all turned out 'uncomfortable to look at' ingame. The final version is still in the \WIP\ folder:

I could remove that but its from the original author and that spot is about the only place it's so screwed up in. The bigger wall-tits graffity is a different texture and works fine. What do you think?

I like the wall-tits graffiti because its subtle(ish), the elf one on the floor (originally a dark smudge for those wondering) just appears too often. It may be a combination of seeing it all the time in Sanctuary, and seeing it in once or twice in every level that annoys me. I say this like there's another option, I have no idea if there is. That's why I'm excited for the graffiti work in TPS, as  you have a lot to draw from (perhaps at the expense of the sheer number of posters in BL2).

TLDR: I feel the floor graffiti currently used is spammed a bit, and would trade it for another type of graffiti if possible (emphasis on "if").

Edit: I found what I would suggest replacing it with, but I don't know if it falls under the game's definition of "graffiti" or if it shows up out side Captain Scarlet's DLC 20181002142942_1.jpg.0374867e42428812b69f352ce1aed79c.jpg

I'm planning on doing a Vault Hunter or two (guess who?), although I've run into a slight problem. I have to collect several versions of every texture in the game, because it uses many textures of varying resolutions (to account for distant-models or low spec PCs). This means that to get the textures I need, I'll have to be in a game with the Vault Hunters in question. When I have access to a better internet connection, I'll see to that (unless someone would be willing to get the files and memory addresses I need).

Nretsmah if you're interested, you can download TechnoJacker's Cheat Engine table. It is mentioned in the 22 October 2014 update that a free camera mod has been added to that table. When you're loaded in a game level, activate that script and you will be able to see your character and zoom out to collect the textures at all the resolutions. Your Lilith screens get my thumbsup!

You also said you are paranoid about using texmod online. There is no need to be. The texmod only applies on your PC. Other players can never see the modded textures.
