Santr Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 1) Is it a good/bad idea to use FNVEdit's feature "Remove 'Identical to Master' Records"? 2) Is there any reason to compress BSAs, apart from saving some space on your hard drive? Does the game actually use them compressed, or does it have to decompress them every time it reads them thus lowering performance?

[/quote'] 1) Should be done by the mod author, but 99.99% of the time, you should. 2) They are uncompressed in memory on use. Time taken in decompressing should most likely be balanced by the time needed to open individually each ressource as a file.
