trees Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 So I am currently using a few Pose Mods in Oblivion. Problem is... they won't work. With the mods I'm using right now (Chain It!, Dungeon Poses, and CT_Addpose Merged), I will use the crystals to activate them, however, when switching from first to third person, the pose does not take effect. Same when switching from first to TFC mode, third to TFC mode, third to first back to third, ect. So... How do I get these things to work? I already checked the installations and everything seems to be in the right places...
Symon Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Pose and animation mods are incredible sensitive to load order if (as most still do) they use tokens and pickidle. Your running game has a linked list of all idles and it is far too easy for one mod to break another's animations Try moving those mods to a higher priority in your load order. e.g late.
trees Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 When you say a higher priority, do you mean higher or lower in the load order?
gregathit Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Higher priority will mean lower in your load order. Oblivion works in such a way that if there is a conflict then the plugin that is lowest in the load order "wins".
DogOnPorch Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 If you have the High Heel system installed, you can use the 'Fix Idle' feature it has to clear-out any stray pose scripts running that might get in the way. Works well in many situations that might have required a reload.
