Just a shot of my Oblivion characters (and Fay) since Maht sent me an updated version of her companion. Also a pair of shots of my Temptress character are in the spoiler below, who I've renamed to Revy (yes I did steal the name that Darigaz uses for one of his characters, I like it.)

In other news I've rage quit Monster Hunter World. I enjoy the game (despite it's, in my opinion, shitty combat system. Seriously the big heavy weapons feel as they should slow and ponderous but the smaller and lighter ones feel really fucking floaty and feel like they don't do jack shit even after a fuckload of hits with them) I've hit not so much of a difficulty spike as more of a difficulty cliff face in the form of the Anjanath (the big T-Rex thing that's been in all the fucking marketing for the game) now I could deal with the thing in expedition mode where it was challenging but not bullshit but in the actual hunt for the fucking thing it's honestly pissing me off. I don't mind a challenge if said challenge follows the rules the game sets out but the Anjanath seems intent on breaking all those fucking rules, in my first attempt at hunting it it managed to set me on fire despite not being able to use it's fire attack at that moment in time additionally it seems to have WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more health than it should do and it deals WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more damage than it did in expedition mode (as in taking out 2/3rds of my health rather than just 1/3rd of it) oh and immunity to poison, one of my mates told me that poison gets less effective the more you use it when I poisoned it for the first time in my hunt the poison ended after about a second dealing fuck all damage. But that's not the worst of it I decided to try again with a different weapon and the thing was doing damage to me WITHOUT FUCKING ATTACKING!!! As in I'd lose health despite not being caught with any of its attacks, goodbye 2/3rds of my health despite timing my dodge roll perfectly and avoiding the fucking thing. So yeah not to happy with Monster Hunter right now, which has overshadowed the fact that my other mate is saying it's game of the year already, when we're only two months into the year and have just left list season.
