Really nobody can help me?

Nobody knows how to create a gif?

Merci !!

Hello,

I am looking for a friendly person who could help me to create gif ! :)

Usually I use "Gfycat". But I would create real gif!

Exemple ! You must click on the image to make it lively. (It's okay ? You can understand me?)

I would like the animated gif always! (It remains frozen) (It's okay ? You can understand me?)

I found lots of tutorial with "google". But each time he asks Photoshop. I refuse to pay for GIF! :D(It's okay ? You can understand me?)
I'm sure you understand nothing. You must certainly take me for a crazy? Right? :D:P

In short! I want to create gif! :D

Some pictures for fun. ? :)

Hm, have you tried the "Image" button? I don't think you need photoshop to upload still images that are gifs. You might need to upload to loverslab using My Media and then select it when posting? I'm not sure I've never done blog posts (yet).

If you do happen to get photoshop (however you do is irrelevant; student copy, friend loan, whatever) I can teach you how to create gifs in a few *very* simple steps.

What part exactly are you stuck at in creating a gif? Have you recorded a video clip already?

http://www.loverslab.com/blog/607/entry-3776-a-skyrim-gif-making-tutorial/

If so the tutorial I made looks complicated but step 0-2 is just using the video editing program mostly and step 4 is how to upload gifs. So what you need to do is step 3 only if you have everything ready.

Step 3 is gif making, and it's free, no photoshop, just upload a video for free and press convert on this website: http://ezgif.com/

Literally the instructions are on the website itself, and the tutorial also has tldr instructions highlighted in orange. Lemme know if you were stuck, would be glad to help!

First, thank you for answering.

The problem is not tutorial. The problem is that I have comprehension problems. :(

Ok... My videos are in format. 2560x1440 ... I know how to encode video at size 1920x1080 this is not a problem. But I do not know how "Cropping" the video.

does not work, a black window opens and then nothing happens. :(

But it's not big deal. I will continue to use "gfycat". It's convenient, but people never click on my links. That is why I would like to make real gif! :P

Goodnight ^^

Hmm... Gfycat uploads come with .gif output too which you can use, but they just tend to not have as smooth framerate as the Gfy .webm format. However, I think the quality is passable and you can simply embed it.

Something like this? The image is also a link to the Gfycat .webm. There's a big 1080p .gif too if you'd like to use that.

GlumCompetentAoudad-size_restricted.gif

I still like Gfycat .webm very much because they're small and much smoother.

Sorry if I'm off-track and not actually helping! I'm a bit confused myself as to which parts are giving you trouble.

EDIT: If the only difficulty is with cropping parts of the video you want to use, I tried with VLC according to this tutorial ( http://lifehacker.com/the-complete-guide-to-making-animated-gifs-1503276993 , under GIMP section) and it seems to do alright.

I am so bad ... Sorry :/

Ah! If the above sample is what you would like to do, then here are the steps on how to do it:

1. On the Gfycat page of the animation you want to use, for example this one: https://gfycat.com/GlumCompetentAoudad

Point to the bottom right of the picture where some buttons will appear. Click on the gear icon. This will open some options in a menu.

2. Click on either 'Small gif format' or 'Large gif format' to go to the .gif image of that animation.

3. Copy the URL of the .gif, for example this one: https://thumbs.gfycat.com/GlumCompetentAoudad-size_restricted.gif

4. Come back to your LoversLab posting box - like this comment box - then click on the 'Image' button (icon is a little photograph) at the top, on the same row with the Bold/Italic/Underline icons are. Now paste the link of the .gif. This will make your .gif appear in the post and it will be animated.

5. Now click on the .gif image that you added. It will highlight blue. Now press the 'Link' button near where the 'Image' button was. Paste here whatever link you like (even google.com), such as the normal Gfycat link of your animation.

6. That's it! You now have an animated picture that works as a link.

P.S. This can work for other .gifs too, like the cat one you posted above.
