Azurel walked down a path, searching for the village of Helgen to retrieve some ancient urns for the museum. However, Azurel was lost and couldn't find it.

 

 

As she wandered around, Azurel found a Stormcloak patrolling outside his camp. She hesitated to ask him for directions, but now, she had no choice.

 

 

It... didn't go well.

 

 

 

 

Azurel turned around and stormed off (no pun intended), but his words cut deep. She was no stranger to being discriminated against and usually just shrugged things like this off. However, this time, it made her angry! She tried to breathe and let it go but couldn't for some reason. Then, Azurel heard the voice in her head.

 

 

Azurel lost control of herself and did as the voice commanded.

 

(I apologize for the poor quality, but it was the best I could do to prevent this shit from taking an hour to load.)

 

 

At the end of the massacre, Azurel was out of breath.

 

 

But, as the rage faded, reality sank in...

 

 

In a panic, Azurel ran away from the camp as fast as she could.

 

 

Unable to run anymore, Azurel sat on a rock by a river and cried. She felt nothing but shame and regret for doing what she did...

 

 

 

Azurel knew why she did it, though. It was the damn Runeblade! It was changing her! Without thinking, she took the sword and hurled it into the river!

 

 

It hit with a loud plop. Azurel stared at the ripples on the surface until they disappeared.

 

 

Azurel turned around and walked away. She could feel the Runeblade calling out to her, but she didn't care. It was done.

 

 

However, this wouldn't be the end of the Runeblade. It would sit patiently at the bottom of the river, waiting for its new champion to come back for it. It knew that she couldn't resist it forever...
