> And now, what? Those two fucks will have a free meals 3x times a day, exercise in gym, watch cable or satellite TV, have warm cells and so fucking on. No, I say, "eye for an eye" with interest. Beat them every day leaving them barely on life for many days, and then beat them so hard that they will die in agony for days. Some should record it and broadcast on all social medias as an example what will happen to those who would dare to do the same.  I volunteer.

well well, it seems that we have an anti-hero among us, but leaving the joke aside, it's a shame that people who do this have parents or ''friends'' who pay a bail or bribe and get them released from justice and to make matters worse as they are Americans and killed someone non-American, depending on the authority and the state in which this case took place, justice is even more favorable to citizens who really have American origin.
But I agree with you, at these times the same feeling hits me of taking justice into my own hands.

> In our country is quite similar. The law protects males over females, and If you are catholic, the member of leading political party, have strong connections, or being rich and was in civil war, you are untouchable. My Prince took the justice in his hands so many times that he would end up in the prison long time ago if we wouldn't have a family friend(s) who protects him and us. Let me make a clear of this: if the certain law institutions like police do their job and if they wouldn't be corrupted too, my Prince wouldn't play the hero role. He doesn't enjoy in hurting people, but the rage he feels when he sees injustice makes him react because too many villains walks away without being punished by the law.

I've been reading your blogs (although I don't comment on all of them) and the way you describe your life situation there, apparently you live in some Eastern European country (well at least somewhere in Europe, I'm sure you do) and these countries have corruption scandals, almost always news of corruption comes out from central and eastern europe countries as on euronews and coface websites. Certainly, with the war now and the winter coming, things must be getting at least worrying there in Europe, at least for the most needy class.

But back to the subject, I take my hat off to your husband for acting this way but it is clear that acting this way attracts attention from enemies and in a country where you live full of corruption it really becomes worrying because the enemy just needs to have power and friends that they can deliver them from justice and they do something to him or, worse, to his family. But here comes the question ''but if we don't revolt against them, who will  ? '' so that's why your husband becomes a hero, because he advances against the enemy even knowing the risks and in the end, evil always loses (most of the time at least), so i say to him (although I think he already does that ) always walk with his head held high because he is a hero. And about me.... it doesn't matter, I'm not a villain but I'm certainly not a hero.

- there was something I was going to say, it was in a post of yours a long time ago about some types of Christians who keep offending you and your family, it's not about the subject of what I wrote above but I think I should talk about it because I know that the sometimes there are pastors, priests, bishops and other members of the Christian religion who make someone non-Christian think that Christians in general are bad but know that not everyone can be represented by these religious leaders, there is a large portion (if not the majority) that they are ordinary and open hearted people, so I hope you don't see me as a bad person, after all I'm a Christian and I don't judge you. (although it's hard to trust someone on the internet, nowadays everything can be invented and words on the net don't show feelings, so if you doubt what I wrote, I'll understand xD )

> I like your answer. Very wise and very true. Yes, I live in ex communist country that was the part of Yugoslavia. Corruption never ceased to exist, it only changed the system.

> As for being under Christians' attack,  it was my Prince's mother and his step father who are some religious fanatics. But she denounced him as a son when her daughter, his sister, died from Corona. We live in peace now. As for Christians in general, we do not blame them all, although we didn't have any support from any of the ones we met, but judgments and curses. So, we stay away from them.

Your countries "perception of corruption" index puts it as the least corrupt of all the FRY (Former Republic of Yugoslavia).   The US scored a 67.   The best is Denmark (least perception of corruption at 88) and the worst is South Sudan (11).    So by comparison, your country is the average amount of corruption world wide.

Now, as for the comment that somehow American's have it better than non Americans.    I had to scratch my head on that because the US has one of the highest incarnation rates, the highest use of the death penalty (being beat by countries like China, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia).

In short, the US's criminal justice system is strongly influenced by Puritan beliefs, making it much more likely that you will do time if you do the crime in the US.    While some will say there is an issue with disparity of justice, this typically comes down to economic factors (poor can't afford the medical procedures for the mentally unsound or intervention steps such as "military school" for ill behaving youths), America's justice system is still in need of some significant work.

So, if I were going to commit a crime somewhere, you better believe it is going to be outside the US, (Russia, China, Syria, North Korea, etc.) because it is much more likely I will get off with a lighter sentence.

The source for my information comes from the following two websites:

National Interest.org; 28Feb21; "Why American Exceptionalism Abroad Requires Criminal Justice Reform" (https://nationalinterest.org/feature/why-american-exceptionalism-abroad-requires-criminal-justice-reform-178835)

> Thank you for your observation :)

> You see, why i researched about the corruption in our country on the European scale, I noticed that data varies, depends on sources. Some put us on the first place in the Europe, some on third, and some on fifth. Same goes on global scale. No offense, my dear friend, but for me is not comforting that our country is average on corruption scale.  The Bosnian, our neighbors are worse than us, but still it doesn't give me peace :) I know how hard is to get legal justice in our country and if we wouldn't have Antonio, we'll be screwed.

My point was that an American who commits a crime in your country will likely be treated better than if they committed the same crime in the US, unless they have lots of money, then in both countries, they will be able to secure a better sentence.

When I looked up your current  batch of political leaders, I see that you have more corruption that I imagined.   At best, It seems that they ignore the regular people, and (to me with my limited research) do not even bother to lie to the people to win elections.     It is almost as if they (your political leadership) wants to have elections, but doesn't want to have real elections, where the average person and the connected politician both have to play by the same laws, subject to the same crime, and can't enrich themselves unjustly.

As for vigilantism, or taking the law into your own hands,  I will trust your opinion on the matter, as I have spent very little time in (or off the coast) your country.  I still hold to my belief that while evil doers should be punished, even with death, it should be done in a manner that is at least without malice.

As for evil, I am pretty certain I can recognize it but sometimes, I may not be right.

A bit of a break from the topic.  Evil can just depend on your perspective.

Ok, I am going to beg for your (and anyone else reading this) patience for a little bit and watch this video.

Spoiler

Who is the evil person?
