Feyfolken - Prologue - Part 1
Are we creatures of mischief and mystery? Are we trixter gods whom abuse the gullibility of men and mer?
Are we the vengful ones, casting judgment on those we see as complicit in the genocide of our kind?
If you question our deaths then why have you not seen us?
Are we something else to you; The maiden in the woods, perhaps? Are we mere vessels to be used by the desires of men and mer?
Well, of this, I can tell you. Our bodies are warm and our flesh is soft. We feel like they feel. We came first, after all. Perhaps the earth bones did too good of a job when we were shaped.
We are the firstborn.
We were hunted for our souls.
We are the splinters of the earth bones.
We have been called many things.
We are Feyfolken.
So here is the first part of the prologue for my story Feyfolken. There is so little lore on the faerie in the elder scrolls games that it made it very fun to let my imagination run wild with lore of my own. This story is the result of that. Part 2 of the prologue will start the story of my main character shortly before the events in skyrim take place. It, and most of the rest of the story will be very different in style and substance to this.
I had planned to upload the entire prologue as one entry, but I had time constraints. I barely write online so bear with me if anything is out of place.
I am sorry if anything I write translates poorly for the people that don't speak english and are interested in this.
