  1. So do you have to do both FNIS and Nemesis for human-only SL mods to work? There's no way to directly port them to Nemesis? I don't have any creature animations, but the SL mods do all have FNIS tags.
  2. thanks for the info i'm glad that Athena is the latest as i am 90% done with my next tattoo release. I have a question tho. I noticed that after i did my thing to the texture the overall color was a bit off in comparison to the hands and feet and there was a tiny gap at the wrist/arm connecting point' date=' is there anything i did to cause this or better yet any way to even it back out to make it seamless again? [/quote'] You would have to ask thor and the rest of the team that, I have nothing to do with the textures :/. Perhaps you saved it in a different compression or something yeah I'm having the problem too. I noticed it last night.
  3. Ooh, very neat! Keep up the great work, don't let anyone discourage you
  4. Holy cow, that's detailed. When's it coming out?
  5. Well, I definitely wouldn't recommend uncompressing your DDS files for people to download. For example, the face texture comes out to 80megabytes. Until another solution is found, I might just recommend telling people how to uncompress and re-mipmap their own copies of the textures if their hardware can handle it. It's a little bit costly in terms of hard drive space, but if the blocky textures drive you nuts like they do me, I'd say it's worth doing. I have a 470GTX, 3ghz 6600, 8gigs of ram.
  6. Well, I figured out how to fix everything. Rebuilt all the mipmaps for the face and body textures in a larger bit DDS format. Seemed to do the trick.
  7. Just FYI again: The blocky bodies are back somehow, and the faces are still de-evolving into rectangular blocks at further distances as well. What on Earth is going on!?
  8. Quick note: The body skin is fixed and no longer blocky, but now the face textures are having the exact same problem :/
  9. I did that, too, and nothing changed. It's probably an issue with the meshes themselves or something.
  10. Eh? It does have toenails (I just re-checked). The .nif that SZlodey posted doesn't have toenails, but my .obj file does. There's nothing really keeping toenails from morphing into claws, is there? As long as that detail's there, well, this is the next generation of video games, right?
  11. You can. If you adjust your fov via the console (~) using the "fov (number here)" command, you can generally see the chest area of any custom armor/mesh, and that includes the bodyshop release. I recommend an FOV somewhere around 105-115 on a widescreen monitor. Results may vary. However, you can't see your legs, which is a little odd. I wonder if there's a flag on meshes that turns this stuff off somehow? Or something to do with the skeleton you're using first person mode? Having a full body in first person would be kinda cool, like Mirror's Edge.
