  1. ^ I don't know what the fucking avatar is, but I see a lot of stars.
  2. I used to not understand this joke, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
  3. I was chasing the sweet-roll thief once, then I took an arrow to the knee. Now everyone's sweet-roll is being stolen.
  4. "HAI! I'm a Bethesda Dragon! I like to be different, so I break your immersion with my super-sweet-flyin' tricks! YEAAAA 'MERICA!
  5. I was a hipster meme once, then I took an arrow to the knee.
  6. AHHH SHIT! I just took an arrow to the knee! What should I do?
  7. I was a werewolf like you once, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
  8. I got to thinking, maybe I'm the Dragonborn, then I took an arrow in the knee.
  9. I was the Arch-mage of Winterhold once, then I took an arrow in the knee. + then I took an arrow in the knee. = profit? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXmPrYEOvM8
  10. If you have a sense of sanity you'll stay away from companions. That's the only advice I have. So far, Skyrim has really lived up to the hype for me, even the dragons have gotten better since I met my first Ancient. Now that was an asshole out to fuck some shit up. The only compliant I have has to be some of the endings to the guild quests. The College in particular vexed me in places until I learned there was still more to do instead of just using the guild as a cash cow. The bugs are there of course, but I stay silent on that, I've complained enough about bugs in Bethesda games to the point where I just expect them.
  11. The more I play Skyrim the more I realize I hated Oblivion until Shivering Isles was released. I had many good reasons why I tended to get bored in the earlier Elder Scrolls. Reasons the Mad God did much to fix. The gameplay, the environment, and the loot, everything is just more addictive and better-tuned than Oblivion. Sure there are enough bugs to scare Billy, and the PC controls are bad enough to give me cancer, but by God I haven't been able to find a decent, strong reason to hate this game. I mean if you want to be vindictive, you could turn your ire to the fact we haven't received the modding kit, something I believe Bethesda will deliver after the first, big patch.
  12. The Warp in the West as explained be professionals. Bah, give it the fancy name the lore says I still say it's the most laughable compensation for a player-base. A time-warp crazy hole causes all the events to happen at once, such a twist wouldn't work in video game story-writing today. Sure it appeases to the players but it really didn't 'fit' with the high fantasy vibe of Daggerfall.
  13. Have you ever considered that being the lord of madness in a plane of Oblivion is really more of spiritual than a physical condition? Perhaps the Sheogorath you're speaking to really is the Champion of Cyrodil but after two hundred years inside a realm of MADNESS has been changed to reflect that realm. Sheogorath was as much the ruler of the Isles as the Isles were an extension of his mental and physical appearance. I could imagine that the planes of Oblivion aren't pleasant to live in and neither is it likely that a mortal is meant to 'replace' a Daedric Prince. Likely, you 'became' Sheogorath over two hundred years of ruling the daedric realm. Even if your character was female, this process could still apply. Like how the black knight in Infinity Blade is your father if you choose to join the God King. It makes sense because Sheogorath was the epitome of an insane scotsman and his very title was that of Mad-God. I doubt Daedric Princes can change their nature and must do what their ideals are, for they have no 'true' free-will. If you find this nonsensical then do yourself a favor and read up on the freaking 'time-warp' they justified at the end of Daggerfall lol.
