Orc race problem...

I have a very annoying problem with my skyrim, and can't seem to fix it.

 

It's not a problem with texture files. The Orc race is using human face textures, as seen in the screenshot.

 

It might be a problem with scripts or something, chargen maybe, idunno. All I know is that it's aggravating seeing Orcs with pasty white human faces.

 

The only way I could cope with it, is editing the human face texture to be greenish, to match the Orc's bodies, but that makes humans have green faces....

This sort of thing usually happens with mods that improve the overall look of characters, like ''better males'' etc.

Do you use any of these mods? 

Perhaps one of them is being overwritten by something.

Would it be possible that I messed it up by placing the "Faces - GeonoxFacesWithoutBeard"  Better Males texture in the "Orcmale" folder? Did that break my skyrim? Cause i cant really think of anything else, other than it being a problem with chargen or something

That sounds like specifically what went wrong(unless you got other mods that change face textures). Doesn't sound like those 2 mods would work together, since better males cover male faces too. What probably ended up happening, is that you installed better males, and then GeonoxFaces on top it, so you have a better males body for orcs and a GeonoxFaces face for orcs, both don't mix i guess.

 

People usually use mod organizers when modding skyrim, if you just download mods and place them into skyrim folder, yeah, it will be difficult and the only way to do it.

 

What you can do is, delete both better males and Faces - GeonoxFacesWithoutBeard, and place fresh better males back in, to see if anything changed.

If it works, it don't use both mods together

I'm using the SOS male body, I didn't download any body texture from Better Males
