Hello there, i would like some assistance on redirecting armor paths.

I'm using Spicy's Fox's Armor replacer (https://staticdelive...-1423062767.jpg) which works as a charm EXCEPT the daedric armor. in the daedric armor, seems another mod has replaced it and it shows "Daedric Lord Armor" replacer. I checked the oblivion .esm path but can't find any issue, While in game the path is  Data\Meshes\Armor\yj\daedric\.... instead of the Data\Meshes\Armor\daedric\f\.... (Looked with formIDfinder). Can someone tell me how to fix it? I REALLY don't like this armor :P

Thank you

That's easy move the spicy's fox's armor replacer to the last spot in the load order close OBMM or whatever mod manager you are using and then load the game whatever is overwriting it now going to lose as the spicy's fox's armor replacer will now trump whatever was trumping it.

If you have 2 things altering the same thing the last one will always win and overwrite the first one.

Or search the "bad" Mod.

Start TES4edit with all your Mods.

Open the oblivion esm, then armors and see which Mod change the armor model path to Meshes\Armor\yj\daedric\

Tried that, didn't work. The thing is that the game expects to find the daedric armor in that particular path. Hence if i delete/rename/remove/move anything the armor and the body become invisible.

That worked and i found the culpit to be "better unique items". Should i change the path back or just delete it?

Thank you both of you

You could just copy the model you do want and overwrite the one you don't want with it.

As long as they're using the same equipment slots there shouldn't be much of a problem, and it's not like the 2-3kb are going to make a difference.

Both should work

change back to Meshes\Armor\daedric\

or delete the entry in the better unique items esp

With both solutions your game will use the Spicy's Fox's Armor replacer meshes.
