[Need Help] Fnis ERROR(9): Index was outside the bounds of the array

hello, i am using Fnis 6.3 XXL and its was working fine and today as well when i was playing and now i started the game again and loaded my main save and i got an error something about fnis is not working so i quit the game and ran the fnis and now i am getting this error

What's that Sailor Moon and Tifa stuff?

 

About your problem, maybe too many animations?

I havent added any more animation and i am using 6.3 XXL which supports upto 7000 + animations, i am on 3000 somethings, besides i disabled all the animations and am still getting this issue

nevermind, fixed it. Re ran the fnis

You ran the old FNIS by mistake?
No i just reinstalled the FNIS and ran it again and it worked.

I installed the 6.3 XXL version when i installed the game, so no old version of fnis were in my skyrim.

I am having a problem with this as well and I think i may have found the cause 'maybe'

I reinstalled the mod though it works fine, but then it crashes again.

 

I've noticed that  every time i load a game with the loincloth  mod FNIS Crashes.

 

 

I run FNIS and it keeps giving me the same error.

 

If i reinstall the mod though it works find but then it crashes again.

 

I'm using  the most up to date non-extended version on Mod Organizer

alright.. let me join as well....

everything worked fine before, but then, my zaz animation broke all the sudden.

then i rerun FNIS, and then... baaah.... ERROR (9), index outside bound of array happened.

I use FNIS 6.3 XXL and up to date MO

Re install fnis and through Mod manager if you are using it

I've been looking everywhere for a fix for this, and I'm having the same problem (ERROR(9): Index was outside the bounds of the array.). I'm using Mod Organizer and I have FNIS, FNIS XXL, FNIS Spells Addon, and FNIS Creature Pack enabled. Along with those, I also have SexLab 1.62, Creatue Framework, HentaiCreatures, and More Nasty Critters installed (at least, in the vein of animations). And -- just to clarify -- I just did a clean reinstall of Skyrim today, and followed all of Gopher's in-depth tutorials for installing SKSE, SkyUI, FNIS, and so on.

 

For me, it looks like this error seems to occur only when XPMSE (v3.91) is enabled. (if I disable XPMSE, I get no error.) Clearly, however, this is not a feasible workaround, as the skeleton is necessary for the many HDT physics we love so much.

 

Has this been reported before? Running FNIS a second time does not fix anything for me. I've tried taking the files in overwrite and merging them into the main FNIS mod and running again, and leaving the overwrite files in overwrite, then running again -- to no avail.

 

I'm also sure I haven't run out of animation space (XXL is enabled).

EDIT:  Found the problem. I was running the FNIS generator .exe from the original FNIS mod, not the FNIS generator .exe from the XXL addon. Animation installations are working with not a problem now!
 
EDIT2:  Welp, the FNIS generator tool worked fine, but it seems the animations aren't showing up in-game. Characters still stand perfectly straight with their arms to the side, no movement animations whatsoever for the player character. Animals seem to have working animations, though. No idea what's going on.

I know this is slightly old, but I wanted to add my problem as well:

I recently had a set of SLAL animation packs (K4's) cause repeated errors and CTD when disabling them through mod manager. There was no workaround, so I had to delete them manually. NMM figured out the mods were missing and 'uninstalled' the remaining files, but now I get the ERROR(9) whenever I try to run FNIS. Disabling and reenabling FNIS did not solve the problem. Also using 6_3XXL and creature 6_1.

 

Considering moving to the new SE 7.0, but since there is only that and no creature install to go with it, I am uncertain to whether or not it still handles creature anims.

Had to dig into the FNIS debugging logs a bit, but found the cause. Turns out what happened was I was actually breaching the 12k animation limit for FNIS 6_3XXL, a limit that I had just barely escaped before getting the latest on some SLAL packs. I realized I had a HUGE number of posing animations installed that were left over from some previous install (they were not in my NMM whatsoever). Since I never use them anyway, I went in and manually deleted all the hkx folders for them. Brought me down from over 12k animations to ~8.5K.

Hey all,

 

I also had a problem with the Error (9) Stuff...Here is how I could fix it:

 

- After De-Installing and deleting the link to the Generate Tool in MO and  RE-Installing FNIS 6.3 manual via the S.T.E.P-Wiki (MO did have Problems sometimes to read FNIS, so better do a manual Install directly in your Skyrim - Data Folder) Then follow the S.T.E.P-Wiki

 

- After the fresh install of FNIS is set up inside your MO, check the UNOFFICIAL SKYRIM PATCH-Folder! If there is a folder in it calls "Meshes" DELETE the whole FOLDER!! The Unofficial Skyrim Patch dont need that stuff!!

 

After I have checked that and did have seen that h_master.hkx and other stuff from FNIS was in it, I have delete it and run FNIS again... and now it works, the Error (9) is gone. After running FNIS now perfectly, there is a new FINIS-File it it, but this called 0_master.hkx and that is okay,
