Getting companion share/recruit to work with Morroblivion npcs

I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the companion share/recruit mod to work with the npcs you find in morroblivion, specifically the ability to recruit just about anyone you meet. There's lots of interesting random npcs you find in morrowind that never do anything, I'd like to recruit some of them as my followers.

 

I opened up the companion share/recruit mod in the CK, as well as the morroblivion mod, but I'm not sure how to get them to work. How do you make the npcs from the morroblivion mod work with the companion mod? When it comes to modding my area of expertise is more in modelling, so any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Not really sure as I don't use Morroblivion, but have you tried Mad Companionship Spells?

Yeah, MCS should work fine with arbitrary npcs.

You'll also want Human Touch from the same page. The HUD is optional.
